I was wondering if you knew that my grandmother Bettie Wimberley was married to Eddie Barker when he past?

RE: Burkett Lindsey‏
Marian, On Feb 4, 2014 I sent you an ordinary email with the biographical sketch of Burkett Battle Lindsey, for the FindAGrave site #86387304. At the very end of the bio sketch (which is rather lengthy), I identified myself with my relationship, etc., as you indicated I should. I presume you received this email ?? I looked today at the Dibrell Cem entry for Burkett Battle Lindsey and it's the same as before, with no changes done. Would it be easier for you some other way? Let me know, first, if you rec'd my email, and secondly, if there's some other way/method you'd prefer.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. I do have the book with that picture. I had not thought about putting a picture with the memorial, but that is a great idea. I actually have a good picture of him and his wife I can use.

Thanks again for the idea. Hope you have a blessed week.

"How about me just deleting the entire memorial I have made for him. I went out when it was over 105 degrees and took photos of all these people. If you read what was on the memorial you would have noticed it said that he is not buried there that someone had placed the marker there in his memory. I had no ideal at the time I was taking the pictures he was not there! I was only attempting to direct people to your page. Since this is not where he's actually buried and only in Memory I'm deleting my memorial. I did all of it out of the goodness of my heart trying to help others find their loved ones. I have no family members buried in any of the cemeteries I've photographed in East Texas so it's no big deal to me. Like I said, I did it out of the goodness of my heart! No problem, consider it GONE!"

It was not my intention for you to delete your memorial. I just wanted the quote from my memorial photograph deleted. It was out of place since it began "Less than 300 yards from here...." I DID read your memorial. AND it does have a place here on Find A Grave. Too bad you went overboard.

This does not belong on your memorial.....

"Less than 300 yards from here, on April 5, 1942, ten Army Air Corps aviators perished in the service of their country.

They crashed their B-17E "Flying Fortress," Serial 41-2443, returning from a routine combat patrol mission around Hawaii searching for enemy forces. They crashed in foul weather and darkness on a bleak Easter Sunday evening that claimed two patrolling combat crews within 10 miles of each other.

This plaque placed by the Hawaii Aviation Preservation Society
on the 65th Anniversary of the crash.
You are not forgotten…"

This plaque is located at Nu'uanu Pali Lookout, Oahu, Hawaii."

You've stolen the "caption" from a photograph I placed on the original memorial for this fine soldier.

Margaret & Cornelia Lovelady
Hi Marian,

I was wondering if you had more information on the headstone of Margaret (73855961) and Cordelia (73856033). I am having a tough time figuring out this Lovelady line. Do you know if Margaret was the wife of Jesse A/Doc Lovelady that might also be known as Mary E or Molly?

RE: Grace Steed
Those parents currently linked are her in-laws. (Probably confused because there is a Grace with a maiden name of Steed.) There had been some confusion on about who her parents were. Some thought that her last name was Mauns, but it is clearly on her headstone as "Marrs". This helped me find her parents where she is first listed with them on a 1900 Census.

I do drive myself crazy sometimes. Yesterday was my 62nd birthday - that must be why I am daft. Here's his correct number. Most of them are at Lee Cemetery, but he's at the City Cemetery. 73817785

RE: Amy Pauline White Steed
Aw, man, when I typed that Istopped to consider if that was a 3 or 5 at the end. Shoulda' checked! Now I can't find it to verify it. That's weird. It was a hint that popped up on, and I clicked to save it to him, but it's not there now. I'll let you know when I track it down. Thanks for all your work. I hope to have all the dots connected by the Steed Reunion in June! :-)
