|Harry Bryant||Bryant Family|
I see that you have researched families in the central KY area. My 2x great grandfather was Thomas Bryant, b.1830, d.1910. Lived on Sulfur Lick Rd, in Washington Co. KY in the late 1800s. His daughter Victoria Alice [Bryant] Bowen is buried in the Antioch Christian Church graveyard.
I am at a dead end on my Bryant line. If you have any information on Thomas' parents/ancestors you could share that would be wonderful. I've searched Ancestry.com and KY vital statistics and have found nothing.

I was there 3 years ago but was unable to find everyone. They may have unmarked graves but I may have missed them.

Happy to help. I just read your Bio. I was visiting in Versailles last weekend. My Aunts live there. A beautiful place to live or visit.

I believe you sent me several requests back in 2011; unfortunately, I wasn't participating on Find-A-Grave at the time. Too many other things with higher priority.
I've just become active again.
If you remember what the requests were, and are still interested, please send them to me again.

That's right, Guy! The saying here is that if you took all the Kentuckians and Tennesseans out of Indiana, no one would be left! My parents were Kentuckian. I got the photo of Rachel's stone. It had been face down in the ground for many years, so was well preserved. I'll be posting it shortly.

I also took the photos of Leonard and Malvina and they are posted. I hope to be able to get the photo of Rachel today. Her stone is nearly buried face down, and I will have to dig it up and turn it over. I have a bad back, so I will have to have assistance in turning it over. As soon as I am able I will get it posted.

Guy, wanted to let you know that I found the grave of Rachel Yeast at Hopewell Cemetery, but couldn't take a photo of it yet. Her stone had fallen many years ago, and I found it buried face down in the ground, and didn't have any thing with me to pry it out of the ground. I am going back tomorrow, and take a shovel with me to bring it up and turn it over, then I will get a photo. Take Care,

I'm sorry, I do not have any info on Rachel.
I only work out of the cemetery if a person's
name hasn't been added to the "Find A Grave" listing
for Greenwood Cemetery, Johnson County, Indiana
Good luck in your search.

The "Brown" side of my tree is basically from Greenup and Lewis Counties,in northeastern Ky. My grandfather was Willie Brown, son of William. The Hatfield's are from Pike County and are related to the feuding Hatfields. My great grandparents were John Lewis Farley who married Columbia Hatfield.

Hi Guy, Admin are asking for help in mapping the coordinates for cemeteries. Kentucky is ranked second on all of Find A Grave. Our county is in desperate need of mapping. I noticed you have a legitimate cemetery photographed Blair Cemetery. Can you please post the basics in the forum under Cemetery Corrections with coordinates, and any basic information ie. This is located at 123 Main Street on private property. Please obtain permission from the owner before...etc. Thanks if you can help out.

You are welcome. Are you any kin to Hughley or Hugh Lee Cornish. Not real sure of his spelling, but he played music with my dad in Bardstown and all over Nelson Co. Ky. I remember him, his wife and some of their children. They were a nice family.

Guy, I think there may have been a typo as to Fannie Coleman's maiden name. Should be "HARRIS" not Burchell.
