RE: Headstone
I am working my way through my managed memorials, but if you have a specific cemetery, I'd be glad to take care of it immediately. I've been out of commission for a while.

Hey Clair! Thanks for the confirmation! There you are.

Actually, Carl died after arriving. I've been able to find his death certificate. Would you like a copy?

Looks like the transfer of Dean and Dorothy Graham went through without a problem. Are you making your edits on the first tab marked "Memorial" rather than the last tab marked "Edit"?

Re: Find a Grave reminder
For many cemetery listings, a "default" photo has been chosen by administrators. A default cemetery photo will appear on every memorial created for that particular cemetery. Only post cemetery photos to the cemetery page of record, not each memorial. The photo you post to the cemetery page might be chosen as the "default" photo. Memorials should only have photos of the actual grave, and possibly a portrait photo of the person being memorialized.

Find a Grave reminder
We've encountered a small problem with your account, or more specifically some of the photos that you are posting.

Please remember that general view cemetery photos (like an entrance sign, for example) belong only on the appropriate cemetery page of record, and not on each memorial page associated with that cemetery.

A good rule of thumb: If you find yourself posting the same photo over and over again on many memorials, then you are posting incorrectly.

Please remove any general view cemetery photos that you have added to individual memorials.

Thank you for your attention in this matter,

AJ

I'm sorry, but your relationship does not fall into the Find A Grave guidelines for transfer.

Would you like to submit new information for me to add to the memorial? Please let me know. Also, don't forget that you can add pictures directly to any memorial.

Thank you,

Cecilia

You better check... there definitely is a Fred and Fred, Jr --- two separate headstones.... don't delete until you sort out the differences between the two Fred's. Photos/dates need resolved. Roseanne Kocinski-Fowler

RE: Headstone
what is your Find A Grave member #. Why don't you use the notification from the memorial page... it is easier for people from whom you are requesting info? I get no info when you email, then I have to remember and write down things.

RE: Headstone
Hi Snake

You offered to post a photo of their headstone for my great uncle & aunt KNOLL who are buried in St. George's cemetery along with my great-grandparents and another great aunt.

Do you have photos of the following headstones:

KNOLL - Sylvester & Ottila

KNOLL - Virginia

KNOLL- Henry & Elizabeth

Do you live in Pittsburgh? Do you cover a lot of cemeteries or just this one? Would be interested in some help locating other family members buried just down the road in ST. Michaels - that is where the REST of the KNOLL/NOLL family is buried as well. Let me know if you can help with this too!

also, if you will, will you please release any of these people unto my account so that I can manage their Find A Grave sites!!

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Penny Knoll - Bozeman, Montana

Surname started as NOLL when the family immigrated from Germany in 1863 to West Virginia and then changed to KNOLL when they moved to Pittsburgh in 1870.
