Leo Schultz
I have linked Leo Schultz's memorial to his mother's memorial, as you requested. Thank you.

Are you Leo's niece, and did you go to high school in northern Iowa in the mid to late 1970's? If so, I think I remember going to your house with Jo and meeting you when Jo was alive.

Francis Nelson
Kristy,

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it and the kind words.

I spent a day taking photos of all the St. Mary's stones and lots of time linking family members (can't believe I missed linking her to Wm!) and researching families on Ancestry.com.

How kind of you to thank me for that.

Are you related to the Nelsons? I will transfer if you wish.

Sarah Jane
There is a Sarah Jane Hall, daughter of Martha Jane and Alvin. I think this Alvin is the youngest son of Josiah's first family. Maybe that's your link?

Bell/Owens
The information on Alvis Bell and family that you found on Ancestry.com may have come from "A History of Ozark County 1841-1991" published by the Ozark County Genealogical and Historical Society in 1991. Unfortunately many records were lost when the Ozark CO courthouse burned. However, if you unravel this mystery of Alvis' father, please let me know!

Alvis Bell
Alvis Bell is the son of Jane Bell (not Sarah Jane Bell). It is unlikely that Alvis' father is Josiah Owens, although Jane Bell did have children with Josiah after they both moved to MO after Josiah's first wife died (she was Jane's sister). Josiah and Jane's farms were near each other in Mo, and although Josiah Ownes had two more wives, neither one was Jane Bell. I do not know who is Alvis' father. Alvis is my great great grandfather. Which branch of the tree do you come from?

Loren Lee Liles entry
This information is being furnished so you can update your Find A Grave entry. Thank you.

Loren Lee Liles, son of Billy and Shirley Mae Tindell Liles, was born May 2, 1959 in Ava, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, October 28, 2009 in Wright County, Missouri at the age of fifty years, five months, and twenty-six days. He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Justin and Chris Washburn; a brother, Ronnie Lansdown; and a grandson Skylar Washburn. Lee is survived by his three children, Loren Lee Liles, Jr. of Mansfield, Richard Liles, and Greg Washburn, both of Hartville, Missouri; three brothers, Junior and Troy Lansdown and Willie Liles, all of Hartville; ten grandchildren; a long time friend, Leslie Holloway; a number of nieces, nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. He was born in Ava and spent all of his life in Douglas and Wright Counties, and attended the Hartville Assembly of God Church. Lee always had a lending hand, and enjoyed making folks laugh. He spent time working at Hutchins Industries and Bill Lee's Saw Mills, as well as helping Clifford Lansdown cut wood. In his spare time, Lee enjoyed hunting and fishing and treasured the time spent with his family and friends. Lee was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Mt. Zion Cemetery west of Hartville under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville.
