You have many Daughtery spellings on your memorials which should be Daugherty. I have filled in the edits but for some reason they are not changing. Just thought you should know. Thanks for all you do on find a grave. Find a grave # 126740426.

Dr. Patricia Burke
Alton Dorothy and Kitty Wilson
I don’t think I am going to put an edit in, because on some level, your assumption was true.

I am related to a lot of the Somers and Savages in that graveyard. May be 80 + within just 2 generations of me.

A few year gaps I wanted to make sure I could have ashes interred there next to my mother who died in ’62. (Dad’s buried in PA where lived with my stepmother for 20 years). It took over a year to find out this was a private cemetery, where your buy the right to be buried. I was finally able to get confirmation from the daughter of the cemetery owner. Four, non-contiguous big plots were bought by my great grandfather in the 20’s.

I hope the day comes Daisy and Clarence Cropper, Pearl Cropper Burke, show up on the roles. You do list, Alton and Dorothy (Savage) Wilson. I looked to see if I could see the gravestone of ... a ---particular addition. There are no photos I can find but I do find listed, their child “Kitty”. Dorothy, called Rotha, was my great aunt, sister to Daisy Cropper and the childless “cat lady “ of the family. Although she rarely had more than one, they were all spoiled rotten, neutered, but grossly overfed and most never lived that long .She had a mini-cemetery on her property. But there was one special one.

In the 1960s, as a teenager, my cousin and I spent several summers with my grandmother, who “before perpetual care” would take us and her hand mower to cut the grass . Every time, we would be treated to a tirade (fantasize an eastern short accent) “I do not believe, that fool Rotha, spent – seven - hundred – dollars, for a zinc- lined baby casket, to bury that damn cat – up there with Ma and Pa! (their parents)
I have alerted the cousins to update their genealogy records .

Sincerely, Dr Patricia Burke

Your mem. #116402307 James White
Hello David,
I recently sent a correction on the "edit" tab for your memorial #116402307 for James White buried in "White burial Ground ". As I said in the correction notice I believe this to be a duplicate of my memorial #49855086 for James White (same b/d dates) buried in Brodwater Cemetery which I have documented with photos. Unless you have more documentation for your posting such as photos, cemetery location or other proof for your posting I would appreciate you deleting your memorial to help alleviate confusion for anyone looking for their ancestor.
Thank you,
Perry W. Caldwell

All entries in this cemetery were made by you.
There is at least one duplicate of an individual at another cemetery, are you sure this is not a different name for an existing cemetery?

RE: Joan
Hi,

You're very welcome. I just happened to still have all of that information after I transcribed the cemetery records for the Library of Virginia and RootsWeb. I'm happy to put it to good use! You may be getting some more from me. :)

Warm regards,
Joan

Thank you for the time. But I have a question? You credited me as the contributor on the closeup tombstone. I believe the credit is yours. Thanks again. I do the same for others here in Oklahoma.
