Scrubjay, I wanted to let you know that Warren Smith is not buried in Picard Cemetery. My nephew went to school with both the sons, Sean & Ron. I spoke to a family member of Al's today and was told that his ashes were scattered on a mountain top on some property he owned. Linda B.

No, I am not related; just enjoy creating memorials for those who have left us. I have added his full name instead of the initials. Thank you for your interest.

Sorry, the photos for her grave stone are so poor, but the stone is very hard to read. The plot location and map show her grave to be at the location I took these photos. You can read the surname Cosner, the rest is very hard to read.

Thanks for the message. I have been meaning to add the following info to my profile. "The Miami-Dade Public Library maintains the Miami-Dade County Obituary Indices (1896-2008), compiled and published by Ann Josberger McFadden. The obituaries and death notices are indexed by year, and contain the name of the deceased and the newspaper reference for locating the individual's obituary or death notice.
Contact the Miami-Dade Public Library, Genealogy Department at 305-375-5023 for information and obituaries". Your message reminded me to add it.
I was able to find partial death dates for the folks you mentioned.
Anna Callahan died in 1944, George Joseph Callahan in 1948. Lester Bryant Manley died Aug 1958 and Josephine in Apr 1969. If you contact the library they should be able to find their obits.
If the obits don't mention the cemetery, you will need to obtain Florida Death Certificates. They are only $5, if you have the exact date of death. The link for death certificates: http://www.floridahealth.gov/certificates/certificates/death/

Just checked Estella Smith's site for the posting of the obit. & saw the list of siblings & the son.

|Nancy/catsaver||My Error-Estella Smith request|
I just posted an obituary to Estella Smith's memorial & F.A.G. said they would tell you your request was fulfilled. Not so, the "picture" is her obituary. So, you need to make the request again. Sorry!
I looked up her obit. in the hopes of finding her burial site mentioned, no luck. The Fresno County Cemetery is a pauper's field, & I just don't think from what I've read & what I've researched that she would have ended up there. Could be wrong of course. If you have any idea who her siblings were & where they might be buried or her children, she could be there. I'm willing to help if you can give me some clues.

Yes, I remember. When I saw Cora's name, I was hoping that I could find you and tell you that the lost was found.
Hope you are able to find her sister.

|Bob Thompson||RE: Clifford Thompson|
Thank you for the reply. I grew up in Detroit and we would go to Lansing (Holt) every few months to see my Grandpa Clifford. Lillian died when I was very young. My brother and sister still live in Michigan but we moved to Arizona in 2001. I can remember visiting family in Colorado when I was a kid and we were on vacation. I recall my dad (Richard) telling about one of his uncles being in the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show and we searched photographs and information when we visited Bill's grave a few years ago.
When I was still working, I spent many weeks in and around Silverthorne and Dillon testing cars for Ford Motor Company. Such a beautiful state!

There were more Estus headstones in the same plot as the Briscoes. I will get those and add them to f.a.g. Listed are; E. M., Everett Jr., and Harold.

Hi...happy to help, There were 6 Briscoes in the same plot so I added their photos also. One of them was listed as Briscol on f.a.g., but has been corrected. Also in the same plot is Susan Frances Briscoe Estus, 1900-1997. I added her photo also.

Hi, thank you for your contributions to many in my family. My daughter has gained much from your contributions and has developed her own genealogy page: http://kristisgenealogy.blogspot.com. We are part of Clifford L. Thompson's line and Richard W. Thompson was my dad. We have pictures of my parents, grandparents and great-grandparents on the piano due to a great extent, to you. Thank you. Kristi tells me that you and I are second-cousins.

You are very welcome. Sorry it took so long. But the cemetery still had about 4 inches of snow last week. I also appreciate the photo credit.

Can't get hold of anyone. The only response I have gotten is delete said persons. The member also does not allow messages to be sent to him. So there ya go. I will pull all pictures I have placed here and will no longer support this effort. I will instead focus all to Arkansagravestones.org it is a free site but you can email and get responses. I had wished this could be fixed but to no avail.

Just letting you know that due to a problem on this site. I will NO longer be posting any more photos. The person that created some memorials refuses to edit a name (stating that the name Josie is correct when in fact it is Louisa Josephine "Josie) So therefore I will be departing from this site. You can still reach me if you would like certain photos at firstname.lastname@example.org

Yes, I DO have them. Okay Zachariah's son Robert Harmon married a Holder who is related on that side. This would be on my husbands great-grandmothers side. Confused haha.
