Thank you for the links to Mr. Pomplun's parents. I appreciate you! I did not know Mr. Pomplun or his family and friends. I would be happy to transfer this memorial to your care but not without your permission first. May I?

Declined Edits
I'm not sure why you are declining my edits?
My sources are-
Obituaries, some that you've submitted but didn't apparently read.

What are your sources for declining?

Thanks for the heads up! I see your other edits that I'll update. (I add dates & maiden names etc. to my spreadsheet for St. Thomas)
This is "my cemetery" that I've "adopted" and appreciate all help to make it more complete. I have the church burial records, but they are often incomplete/illegible.

I often wonder if we are distantly related, since we seem to frequent many of the same cemeteries?
This last year I've been working on relatives of relatives of relatives.....
You might look at my Gross virtual cemetery??

Yes it is clear as mud. I guess I was going by Edward's obituary which states that his wife's maiden name is Erker. I'm wondering if they are maybe actually in the Mausoleum, but still have a monument in a cemetery in Dodge. They did live there for a number of years, according to Edward's Obit. I have seen a few situations like that where there are two sites. Maybe contact the person who has entered the other site for Mary, maybe he knows something about the family. All I know is that I found their marker in the Mausoleum. Sorry I don't know anything else that might help.

RE: Keith Ziman
Sorry I told you the wrong cemetery for Keith's parents. Guess I was having a senior moment (it happens more often than I like). They are also in the Dickinson Mausoleum in Dickinson, along with Keith. Hopefully the request to join them will not take to long. Could you please remove Keith's photo request as it is still showing up as a request on Find A Grave.

Best Wishes, Cheryl

You are welcome. I also found that his wife passed in Sept 1999 and put that on her memorial.
The inscription is not on the niche.

I found his parents in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery and I sent a request to have them connected to Keith. Have a Merry Christmas. Cheryl S

Hi Ken - I'm glad I was able to help - yes you may use the photos, I appreciate you asking. Always an added bonus when the headstone has photos on them too! Continue to enjoy your day.

I photographed the entire Hague cemetery and could not find over 500 graves. This is most unusual. There seems to be all kinds of problems with the list of people - many duplicates, wrong cemetery, bad misspellings, etc. The final findagrave percentage for St. Mary's is only 50% - it had been 32%.

You seem to be familiar with that area too and maybe you can figure out where some of those graves really are.

I also photographed the entire St. Aloysius Cemetery and am not caught up on the pictures yet but will end up with only one or two missing graves. I should be able to get that one up to 98 or 99%.

I recently updated St. Philip Neri and got that percentage well into the 90's. There have been a few missing there for years.

Comments appreciated.

Yes, she seems to be buried with her husband. Probably an over/under burial.

Sorry for the poor photo quality. The headstone is flat and grown over and I didn't have anything with me to clean up the edges... Next time I am there I will try to get a better photo.

I don't as I was concentrating on the details of the markers. I can stop on my way home and take another one.
