Good morning. Sorry for the late reply, but email box was major messed up n only found your message. My grandfather William Morgan Sines did pass on 1 Sept 1960 at Bill Bixby Hospital in Adrian, Michigan, which is Lenawee County. U see, after my grandma Luetta Sines passed, our grandfather sold their house in Sylvania, Ohio n moved up to our farm in Blissfield, Michigan. He was having health issues at the time, so that's why he came to live with us. His record number, what they call it, on death cert, is 574. But, I also find it strange that another William Sines passed on same day, but in Ohio. Anyway, hope this info clears it up for u, n if u need any more family info, please don't hesitate to ask

The most recent amalgamation of various Cemetery Trusts at Rookwood Necropolis combined all the individual sectarian Trust that formerly existed (Such as Church of England, Presbyterian, Baptist, Muslim etc) & created the newly formed and managed Trust called: Rookwood General Cemeteries Reserve Trust (RGCRT) it was established in 2012 to unite the former Anglican, General, Independent, Jewish and Muslim Trusts that managed Rookwood.
However the Catholic section did not participate and chose to remain separate - So the Catholic Cemetery- Rookwood is in fact an independent cemetery – even though on the same grounds.
To be faithful to the Catholic church and the burials of the past, I have placed all the catholic buried in the cemetery still named that: http://www.catholiccemeteries.com.au/cemeteries/rookwood/
I believe there is a distinction between the section that is separate whilst on the same property. The map for Rookwood RGCRT does NOT include the catholic section (as an illustration).

I do not unfortunately know the grave location of Louis. However, my suspicion is that he is buried in either the Highland Cemetery in Glasgow, Valley County, Montana, or in the city cemetery in Wolf Point, Roosevelt County, Montana.
I see a grandson of Lydia quite often. I will ask him what he knows the next time we meet.

Thanks for the info, it was more than I had expected! If I can find detailed info on the family I'm extremely happy but I settle for basic if that's all I can find. What I've encountered is not being able to find documented sources. I'm such a stickler on details. There is just too much wrong info out there mainly due to "researchers" not verifying info. Looking forward to your bios and the website. Thanks again.

|Maclilus||RE: Douglas Hein #56755844|
I looked over my Simpson-Lueber Hein-Boland-Kroehl tree on Ancestry, and the record on Douglas Hein in the U.S. WWII Military Personnel Missing In Action or Lost At Sea, 1941-1946, and does list his death on 5 Jun 1946, as MIA. His only listing for the 1941-1945 period is for being wounded in action. I.e., he is not a WW2 casualty. I recall he was lost in the sea of Japan during a landing/take-off accident - essentially, his aircraft did not have enough power to climb take off after trying to land, and the plane just went overboard, only to be run over by the ship. Body not recovered. One record to consult is the ship's diary (not log), which can be accessed through NARA or the Navy's historical center (they work together).

I got it done. Thank you for the guidance. I too cropped the photo and saved it and it worked!
We must be distant cousins....Ed Taylor was a brother to my grandfather, George Taylor (children of Joseph and Minerva Taylor).

Since Sarah was one of my great-grandmothers, I'm reluctant to do a transfer. If there's any information you want to add to her memorial, though, I'll be glad to do that.
I'm so impressed by your Park research, and I enjoyed reading every word!

We are doing well and hope you and yours are doing well also. Give me a call sometimes 409-239-8727. We are having a small Willey reunion in Orange Saturday and my Dads cousin is going to be there and he is the historian for our Willey side so maybe I'll come up with some new info for us to share.

I appreciate your thanks. St. Joseph's is only 2 blocks from my house, I walked there many times taking photos. It's so nice to see that they are getting remembered by family. Regards, Dale

When I came across your Dad on Find A Grave I was very impressed with his life story. What an accomplished man he was. I was very impressed with the phrase he is quoted as using; "The only resource from which to make great men is boys." Isn't that the truth? That phrase needs to be in-bedded in every parents head, our young boys are our future. Anyway, I have barley started with creating the death march virtual cemetery for my self and need to take the time to do more research in locating those that were victims, can't imagine the mental and physical abuse they had to endure and would like to be able to honor them with tokens on here.

Thank you very much for the fine gravestone pic of Basil William Prather, my 5th-gr. grandfather. Have you any sources which name his heirs? ...specifically, his daughter, Susannah (Prather) Evans (1766-1831)?
Again, thank you for your kind attention to our common ancestor.

Thanks for catching the discrepancy in Horace's birth date re: his father's death. I had mistakenly transposed digits in Horace's birth date. He was born in 1817, not 1871.
