I am not related to the family. If you want to maintain the memorial, send me a transfer request providing the memorial ID number and your contributor ID number. I tried finding it, but was unsuccessful but suspect it is in Pennsylvania somewhere - I am one of several volunteers assisting a gentleman upload his thousands of photographs.

I have to say thanks for all you doing as well have done. it is well!
Please add me as your friend , on Find A Grave here too now.
If I am able to help in any way please ask me and I shall do a best Efforts Basis as we call that..
I noticed you have done a VR Cem. on our direct kins place in Virginia.
FYI, if it helps ya. The place overlooking the James river near Richmond, Va. was one of Col. John Harvie/Harvey, Sr.. he was our thrice cousin Peter Jefferson's Chief Executor and Barrister/Attorney. ESQ. ( Esquire) as you well know only means Land Owner.
His middle son Col. John Harvie/Harvey, Jr. ( who actually was not a Junior as he was a middle son was the Fourth Mayor of Richmond, Va. etc..etc.. holding many other duties too, he fell off the roof of his residence inspecting it.
All the children of Sr. were quite healthy, heavey, ( avg. 320 pounds), and strong in being wide in girth also. One of them in Ga. held up an old mill during a storm but got exhausted doing it and died after the storm. As many did per the duties of in teh American Revolution, they received land Grants in Georgia so moved down, after selling the estates , and lands in Abelmarle / Amherst / Augusta Counties, Va. and came back later to Central Virginia too.
The aforementioned Col John Harvie/Harvey, Jr. chose to stay in Virginia and take his place in society etc.. one of his sons married John Marhall's only daughter. We lost a lot of kin in that horrible Richmond fire. As even the Gov. at that time elected but holding the office till his term started too was killed in that fire. So many were perished.
May GOD so Bless you and all your families.
Jonathan Robert De Mallie
Hollywood was started after it and the civil war many of our CSA soldiers lay in peace now.

Hi Family Hunt,
I received a message that you had posted a map of Hollywood Cemetery where my ancestor, Capt. Robert C. King is buried. What a thoughtful idea! However, the map has not shown up on his memorial page. If you can, please do add it. He died so far from home (Louisiana)that it is nice to have a clearer picture of where he is.
Many thanks for your thoughtfulness and concern.
His GGG Niece

I was so excited to find the wonderful pictures you have of Levi posted on this site? I am Elaine (Grove) Rhodes, a descendant of Levi and Nancy (Murphy) Grove's son David. See: http://carl.rhodesfamily.org/pedigree.php?personID=I199&tree=Carls. I had never seen these before. I am posting a photo I have of Levi and Permilla and their children. Do you have the original photos of Levi Grove?

|BJ & EB||RE: James T Blizzard # 41302313|
The interesting thing is there are
three Blizzards buried in Hollywood Cemetery and none of them are related.
The Hon. James Wesley Blizzard is one whose family I have studied for
decades. The other, Pvt. Hosea P. Blizzard, is the son of John Fountain
Blizzard of Lenoir, NC and Elsey Pollie Gray whose line was R-y-DNA tested
at my FTDNA Blizzard DNA project.
I can understand war dead being buried in a massive grave. But my husband's
great-grandfather had been in Lincoln Hospital, for two months, where he
died. I just feel James T. Blizzard is one of the 10% with a single grave
site, even if he doesn't have a tombstone. I have his two page internment
records online. There are two pages that look alike but are not, and here is
a link to page two where it says at the bottom of the page that he should be
buried with honors and signed.

I made a copy of the map and then went back to his memorial. The map was gone!! Someone else created his memorial and has control of it. But I thank you for posting the map. I asked for a photo because he was a relative of my husbands.
Best Wishes to you and take care.
