Chronicling America
Hinterholzinger is an excellent name to search on, and it's probably so rare that you could search the entire state of Missouri, or even the USA. Compare that to a search on the name Brown--you'd get zillions of false hits.

RE: Newspaper article
I found Mary E Richardson Moxley's obit in "Chronicling America" newspapers. If you wanted to search there for other Moxleys in Missouri, I would do an "Advanced search" limited to "Missouri" and search "Moxley". You can also scroll down the "Or Select Newspapers" list, and search only in the newspaper in which the article on Mary appeared. You can enter up to two words in the search bar, and separate by 5, 10, or 50 words. If searching for an obit, you might search on "Moxley died" w/n 10 words. But that is so narrow that it will miss other obits where they use a different word than "died". Also, searches will miss some entirely because many newspapers were wrinkled, faded, too dark, etc.

RE: Newspaper article
Google "Chronicling America". It provides for searches, but they are narrow in scope and you can't use wildcards, so if a name is subject to spelling variations, you must try each one. Also, searches are perhaps 70% successful because many newspapers are faded, wrinkled, or even too dark.

RE: Fugates
Hi, My married names are Edwards and Dwiggins

I do not go my by maiden name because he was not my father. I found out who my father was in 1986, and if my mother would have told me, earlier before my step father died....then I could have known him...my biological father was Paul Ronchetto of Bevier, MO...but not many people know it....my first husband's name was Robert L. Edwards, we had two children , Robert Lee Edwards actually the III and he married Laura Pagliai they had 3 children, Robert Lee IV, Joseph Reid, and Ceianna Rose. My second son is Billy Don Edwards, his first marriage was to Kristen Japhet, from Washington- they had 1 daughter, Alyssa Dawn Edwards, he then married Sara Beth Henry Tubbs, they had no children, but his step children are Justin and Kerri Tubbs. Her second marriage also. Alyssa left home (Missouri home) at the age of 17, she is now going on 19, and now resides in Texas. we really hated it, however SHE WANTED TO KNOW HER MOTHER. Her mother has a colorful life...lol....anyway, my first Husband's family names are Cornelius, Montague, Swallow, Thompson? ...Edwards and Jones My mother in law, Naomi Swallow Edwards married old Robert L. Edwards of College Mound, MO and had 4 children by him. Actually we know for sure that my Husband was his...he looks just like him. On the Cornelius side, there is Samuel Cornelius, at this time I cannot remember further back.
Donald Lee Herington raised me since I was 4/5 and was there for us (my sister and I) Doris Evelyn Allen Berry Herington and Donald Lee Herington had one daughter, Marsha Kay Herington Brower. My other 1/2 sister is Linda Sue Berry, which in school, college, and all documents I have to carry the name BERRY...Yuk! I also have a colorful life...lol
