William Don Hardin
Thank you for the information. I did not realize that it had been entered the day before I entered it. Don was my cousin. I also have Hollands in my lineage. Elizabeth Ann Holland Jenkins was Don's and my great-grandmother. My mother and Don's mother were sisters.

Lewis Mattlock
Hi! I have corrected the spelling of his last name and the only info I have is what is actually on his stone. If he is related to you I would be happy to transfer him into your care.

Teri, that was one of THE nicest requests I've received about a duplicate memorial. Upon checking both numbers, the other one has been deleted and mine will stay. Thank you for the updated information. Kay

No, not related. I am in my 41st year as a Texas Police Officer and try to add info or pics of law enforcement officers who have passed on. Thank you for your message and your work on Find-A-Grave.

Chloe Holland
Hi Terri,

Chloe Holland was one of my best friends, ever! We met in college, Oregon State Univ. and kept in touch for many years. I know she died in Hawaii but I have not been able to find out where she is buried.

If you are family, and would like a photo of her and her mother, Avis, visiting me while I lived in Los Angeles, I would be happy to send the photo.

If you have a subscription to, you can see pictures of Chloe & I in the pages of the 1964 Oregon State Beaver. Other years will also have photos. We were there from 1960-1961 thru 1963-1964.

You are welcome to contact me at my regular email showing on my profile.

James & Bette Holland's granddaughter
Hi Terri,

I am an old college friend & roommate of Chloe Holland, daughter of Robert A. & Avis Holland. I know she died in Hawaii in 1996 but I don't know where she was buried. I believe her father died there too. Avis died in Eugene, OR but also don't know where she is buried. I'm really looking for Chloe's brother, Leo, if he is still living. I have a picture of Chloe & Avis in Pasadena, CA from when they were visiting me in Jan 1987. Thought he might like to have it. You can email me at my regular email as on my profile if you think you might be able to help me.

RE: Ruth Norton
I did find the connection with the Woods nest to Ruth and Lennos. Frances was Ruth's sister.

RE: Ruth Norton
I did not find an obituary online for Lennos. Would be great to put it with his memorial.

Corrections have been made. I was going by the information that the cemetery records had. Their headstone is unique as the one next to them, the name excapes me at the moment, but it is square with a circle out of it, the exact size of the Norton's marker. Also added Ruth's obiuary. It says she and Lennos were married on June 8, 1941, I believe.

Terri, I requested a picture several months ago of a cemetery marker in Abilene.
Thank you so much for following up on that request. I did not realize until today that you completed the request.

RE: Lee R. Hasting
Hi Terri,
Thanks for the transfer. Please don't feel embarrassed of the spelling. The cemetery records had it spelled the same as you did, LEER. If I hadn't found his obit, I'd never have known any difference. Since I've just added his obit and more info, I went ahead and changed it from LEER to Lee R. I appreciate the transfer so I could update his memorial. Thank You for all your work with Find A Grave. Have a great weekend!

RE: Thomas William Shields
Hello Terri:

Thank you so much for looking for that grave for me. His death certificate says he is buried there. Maybe he has no marker but I am relatively sure he is buried there.

I cannot imagine why they would tell you there is NO Shields buried there as his son and daughter-in-law are both buried there with grave markers. This is Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, Muskogee County, right?

Thanks again for all your efforts!
