RE: Wight Family Photos
Hi Carol,

I normally have no problems allowing people to use my photos on their personal web sites, but for now I am still asking people to not re-upload my photos to Ancestry.com.

Basically I am not a fan of having them put up behind a paywall where I can not even see my own photos unless I pay and likewise others can not see them either unless they pay.

Instead I suggest you use the linking option on your tree to link to the memorials here at Find A Grave where anyone can come and view the photos for free.

I hope you understand & thank you very much for asking. I am sure many of my photos are already posted to Ancestry without my permission. So I do feel bad that I have to say no because you did the right thing.

Regards,
Patrick

re: Wilbur Vierke photo request (Los Gatos)
Hi there!

I claimed your photo request on 11/17/13, but I see, for whatever reason, that Bobbi uploaded a photo for your memorial (and the other two Vierkes in the cemetery) on the same day. Do you wish me to take another version of the photo, or did you want to cancel your request? Let me know.

=)

RE: Saginaw Obituary and Cemetery Indexes
Re: Ralph Victor Watson,

Dear Carol, I believe! My Clare Co., Find A Grave helpers... Helped me make the link. I have checked for a Gladwin County Record Obituary of Charles & Caroline (Dixon) Watson or Ralph Victor and they aren't in (our) Paper here. However Roy Watson is...

Problem is: A lot of Clare County Microfilm was destroyed by: a Fire yrs. ago! There is a chance the Mt. Pleasant/CMH Special collection {can't remember the name of it?} they might have something to help us out on Ralph V. linkage to Charles & Caroline Watson.

Sorry! I couldn't helped more.

I might have gotten the connection also from the Beaverton City Hall in Beaverton, Gladwin County, Michigan who has some Burial Index Cards on Burials in the Beaverton City Cemetery & I just live 1 Block from Downtown here.

RE: Ralph V Watson
Have you ever used the Saginaw Obituaries Index at: http://obits.netsource-one.net/ (?)

I've been doing some Headstones Photo's in the Oakwood Cemetery & Roselyn Cemetery in Saginaw County, MI and based on that Photo... I compare it to the Index and the rest is easy from their on.

Hi Carol,
Thanks! That was crazy not being able to find their graves last fall. I had never had trouble finding it before. Glad to hear it is still there.

Re: Watson's in Beaverton Cemetery
Hello! Carol,

I have transferred the Watson Memorial's in the Beaverton City Cemetery, Beaverton, Gladwin County, Michigan. Over to you! Regarding, Ralph Victor Watson. I can't find an Obituary. Linking him to these Watson's. Though, he must be somehow related?

Their are more Watson's Obituaries available for looking up at: The Gladwin County District Library behind the soon to be Shopco/Pamida Store. In the Gladwin Community Areana. See: www.gcgsmichigan.org for the Online Obituary Index.

The phone # to the Library is at the bottom of (my) Find A Grave Profile. If you should need to Call the Gladwin County Genealogical Society, Incorporated workers.

Note: Our Main Gladwin County Obituary Project is at: www.gladwinhistory.org/obits/obitslist.html

Hope this helps you in your new research?
