RE: Shoup Photos
Ok I had a thought, can you contact the cemetery its self? Here is why several of my family were returned from other states to be buried at home and the cemetery had a record of which state and place they were shipped from the other thing is those that did not the funeral homes had a record of where they were shipped from that would decrease the search area. I did not limit it to the states mentioned incase they were wrong about that.

Here is what I tried on searches none of which
worked: Richard Lee Harpster, Richard, Rich, Dick, R L, Harold F and E (both of which he listed on census) Hearld F and E, Parents, brother, in the years 1941-1942 body of truck driver, dead truck driver, truck driver killed, Possible suicide, Alias Harpster, (it occurred to me he changed his name for legal reasons (bigamy occurred to me since he was a driver though different states, fraud, someone he didn't want to find him, lots of possibilities not all bad...)
His head stone had only the year on it I noticed could they have been wrong about the month?
It could be I just don't have access to the right papers!
Since he woke up outside a tavern with broken bones at least once his death could have been an accident when intoxicated or maybe he was in with the wrong crowd? I think I'll try accidental death next. Sorry no luck so far

RE: Benjamin Chamberlain Standing Rock Cemetery
Hi Tina. Glad you found him! Standing Rock is very close to Stow, just in the next city over, and so there is a lot of overlap between families in the Stow Cemetery and Standing Rock. There are other Chamberlains in Standing Rock, but I only manage memorials for a couple and I'm not sure how they all connect. I'd be happy to transfer Benjamin to you, so you can link up parents and other family members and provide some better bio information. Let me know if any others I manage also connect to your work. I'll do that transfer now! *Janice

Tina, thanks so much for trying to find the gravestone for Baby Becker. I appreciate your efforts even though it turned out to be unmarked. It helps to even know that. ~ Pat

Shoup Photos
Hello I am up dating a family history, Berkebile Families in America, 6th edition of which Elma Woods and William R Shoup are members. Could I have your permission to use the photos you posted to their memorials in the new edition? You would of course have credit for the photos.
Do you have the names of the people in the photo which has William and the 3 girls?

Also I have access to Newspaper Archives perhaps I can help you with a bit of your research in Pennsylvania you will need to send me a list of names and dates at put Berkebile in the subject header

RE: Zimmerman Clan
I see that you do a wonderful job at volunteering for others on this site. Many people that I fulfill requests for have hundreds of requests but hardly any (if any) requests that they have fulfilled for others.

Send me a list of the people you are looking for (full name and birth/death dates) and I'll see if I can find them on Ancestry. I don't know of any other site that they're available on which I think is wrong. If our Governor made them public record, Ancestry should not have the monopoly on having access to them, especially with the annual fee they charge. Our death records are from 1906-1963.

Thank you for all you do to help others and I'll see what I can do for the death certificates.

You're very welcome! I did see Craymer's buried next to the Doyle's. Grandview is only 2 miles away, so I'll get those this morning.

RE: Mount Hope
Thank you! Sounds like a real nightmare, not having anyone claim ownership or take care of a public place. And if it's not taken care of, the chances of vandalism is higher...we had that problem here in Michigan just recently. But don't take any risky chances in there!

Hi, and thanks for the reply.
I think I confuse myself at times. Let me try to explain:

There was an Albert 'J'Auber and an Albert (nmn) Auber, both born in 1871 it appears. Both lived in Ohio at some point and both in Wheeling (early 1900's both listed in Wheeling Directories).

Albert J, born in Ohio and appears to be the son of Henry and Agatha. He's buried in Akron (#90797629).

Albert (nmn)was born in Wheeling and buried there (#46250155). I know he is in someway related to Albert J, but I haven't been able to trace his parents or siblings. I'm wondering if Albert (nmn) is perhaps a middle name?

So it's mainly Albert (nmn) that I'd like to find more info on (parents, siblings etc).

Umm... I transferred Margaret's memorial to you *immediately* after I had found her obituary and created her memorial. You can add parent links whenever you'd like.

Have a good day!

Again, thanks for adding the photos. I just made a page for Gertrude Young's husband, Henry #96859554. Will you add their headstone there also. I will make a formal photo request so that you may get credit. Thank you.

Thanks for taking the photos. Since you have a photo for Ileane, I will go ahead and make a formal photo request for her now.

Yes, I also did a memorial for Gertrude's sister Ileane Spoonster - but her services have not yet been held so I don't know when a headstone will be erected.

Hi, I believe you need to change the mother parent link for Find A Grave Memorial# 76174192. The father link, I believe is correct.
