The cemetery staff dug around found the stone today. I have posted it to his site. Jude

The Tulare County cemetery index indicates that there is a headstone for Mr Leake.
There is no headstone visible at the plot site. I took a photo of the location and reported the 'missing' headstone.
They will notify me if they find it under the grass. If so, I will replace the picture I submitted with one of the stone.

Jacob, I have transferred your great-grandmother's memorial to you. Before doing so, I researched and wrote a biography for her and posted it. I hope you will be able to post a photo of her on her memorial. Take care of her.

Have linked her to her husband.
Thanks for the link.

Southview Cemetery is a large, open cemetery with no church or office building. I do not know who performs up-keeps on the cemetery. I am very sorry, but I do not have a phone number for this cemetery. My best guess would be to contact the Chamber of Commerce at (706) 647-9686, and see if they can help! If you find out any further information, I'll gladly return and search again! I hope this helps in your search.

I see you have placed a Memorial page for one close relative of mine, but have limited information. His wife is also buried there now and I would like to add what family information of them. Sam's wife is my father's sister, and Sam would be his brother in law. My father and all his siblings have passed away and I am one of the few family left. I will try to get his information to you in the next few days. Will this be a problem? I am a Find a grave member #334874338 and a contributor as well 47839191. Thanks for your help and taking care of this for me.

Hollywood cemetery, Richmond, Virginia. I have added to FindAgrave memorial, a map of soldiers section.
Most of the civil war soldiers buried here are in mass graves. Less than 10% of all soldiers have a grave marker. Any burial identified as being in section U, W or lot 703 .... is a mass grave.
Hollywood is a private cemetery. It is well funded and has a friendly, helpful, full time staff that can help with inquiries regarding burials. Please note, many civil war soldiers were not identified. Civil war death records were made by volunteers therefore much information is incorrect, incomplete or non existent.
If you would like me to remove map from memorial, please let me know.

I posted a photograph on William D. Pasley's page of the W.D. Pasley from pg 59. However, if this is not the correct person just let me know and I will remove the photograph and continue the search. If this is the correct one let me know and I will be glad to link him to Henry. I hope you have a great day.

Jacob, thank you so much for transferring little Nancy Ann Beebe to me. I am so sorry I have not responded sooner but every thing seemed to happen at once here and I just have not had time before now---I have a left knee replaced, am getting ready for cataract surgery, had to make a fast trip to Iowa, had a great grand son come to live with my daughter, etc., etc. I do appreciate your taking time to give little Nancy to me. She is so special. Her Mother will be pleased when I see her in June! Thanks again, and continued success in all your endeavors! Thelma (Payne) Coberly. May 5, 2013

Jacob - Thanks for your reply and the clarification. Susan's memorial for Alfred H. BROWN is a duplicate, and I have requested that she delete it, but I haven't heard back from her yet. (She is my cousin, as I am a DeLOACH direct descendant.) I am currently trying to get the two Fellowship cemeteries sorted out. The one called "Fellowship Cemetery" on FindAGrave is evidently Fellowship Primitive Baptist Cemetery, a European-American cemetery - Contributor John Dickinson has apparently created memorials for all the burials listed at this site in the Upson County history by Nottingham & Walker (1930), pp. 442-48. The one called "Fellowship Baptist Cemetery" is an African-American cemetery; however, I am finding that a number of memorials posted to it are for White individuals who are either known or likely to be buried at the Primitive Baptist one. I hope to have it sorted out soon. Do you happen to live in or near Upson County? Thanks again! - jml

Hi - you posted a note on the above-referenced memorial with the statement that this individual is not buried at the cemetery where his memorial has been placed. May I ask how you know he is not there and where he is actually buried, if you know? Thanks! - John, Contributor #46870015

No prob - I'm not all that fussy about transfers; unless you want someone I'm related to (only 1 in GA) or the whole cemetery, I'm good with it!
