Thank you for checking for graves and for the info that the Memorial on FindAGrave is incorrect. I wrote the person who created it asking him/her to double check their info. I had hoped the cemetery photo would help prove it's the person I'm looking for - I guess it helped prove another fact :) Thank you again!

Phylis, Thank you for taking these 2 photos. In Elkhart county, I have counted about 50 Geyer /Weybright relatives buried there. But Wiliam and Susuannah are a unique story. My gg grandparents, Hiram and Catherine Weybright Geyer were married in 1868. 5 years later their younger brother and sister- Susannah and William - were also married. That makes for a mixed up family tree sometimes! It makes sense that the small marker is for an infant as all 4 of William and Susuannah's known children survived them. But since i haven't found all their burial sites, I will check it out. Again many thanks. Marcia Alexander

I found Emma Barthel buried in Amana cemetery. It states on this site that Albert and his family left Amana. So I don't know where he would be buried at.

Thank you SO MUCH for the photo. The only photo I had found until now was incorrectly attached to his records. It showed him as a civil war vet (strange since he was born after). Now I'm back on track!

Could you clarify for me if this tombstone is infant Geyer's AND her mother Catherines? I can't read the top, so I'm assuming Elizabeth's name, etc. is there? Thanks.

What a wonderful surprise to come home and find all of my Photo Requests filled by you. Thank you for providing photos for the Metz (Jesse, Vests Geyer and Lois) family; John, Joannah and Maryanne Weybright; Christina Rowdabaugh; and Sarah Noss. This realy helps fill out the family tree. My grandfather (Eldon C Geyer) told of such fond memeories growing up in the Elkhart area and the friendly people there. May be some day I will be able to visit. But Santa Fe is a long way. Thank you again for your great service. Marcia Alexander

Doesn't mean that they are not there. It means that I couldn't find their markers. Those are old stones and several in the cemeteries are damaged, missing, worn, etc.

Thank you for all the photos. I'm sure they will help. I'm trying to get together a genealogy of the Puterbaugh/Butterbaugh Family for my mother.

Thanks so much for the nice photo on her headstone, which I do appreciate very much for your time. Any chance if you see last name of Benner might be buried closer to her mother Lydia?? I think I put Benner at wrong cemetery, I forgot to check with Elkhart Library when I got the info on Lydia's burial place. I had to change from Elkhart Cemetery to right Cemetery.
Thanks again & have a great weekend.
