I think someone else may have put Bussey on her page. I don't think I did.

You are quite welcome. I have done half the cemetery and will work on transcribing and then go back when it's warm again and do the other half. A lot of Fox's in the cemetery

RE: Mason County, KY Fox Family
Fred Fox was the informant on Robert Lee Fox's death certificate in 1936. Fred was Robert's brother. There are several Claiborne Fox in the family. Ancestry has Claiborne (1775 Farquier Co VA-1815 Mason Co KY) as the father of William Pepper Fox who was father of Robert Lee Fox. I don't know of any current people except a person who posted to Ancestry- Maxine B. Morgan of Ringgold Miss.- the contact would be through Ancestry.

The daughter is most likely buried in Eastview. Put her there and request photo to and it will remind me to look for it.

Most likely it is not there or not marked! I have tried to get all of the photos.

RE: Dr. J C C Blackburn
Hi David. I was in the Madison Historic Cemeteries today. Dr. Blackburn is definitely buried in the Pierre Walker plot in the New Cemetery. The marker at his head is WALKER. The New Cemetery is the second oldest section of the cemetery. When he was buried, this section of the cemetery was indeed a brand new cemetery. Interestingly, no one was buried in this plot for another 90 years, when Pierre Walker, born 10 years after Blackburn's death, became the first of this family to pass away. My guess is that Peter Walker, Pierre's father, was a close friend of Blackburn's and bought a plot for his future family needs and buried his friend there. Peter is buried in the Old Cemetery.

RE: Dr. J C C Blackburn
The Walkers were very prominent people in Morgan County, Pierre Walker perhaps the most prominent of them all. It would make sense that he would be very close to the publishers of the Madisonian. Jane is kin to the Fears as well, but probably not in that era. The Fears were prominent landowners in the same part of the county.

I don't know. I took that picture about a year ago on the same day that I took all the Walker family pictures in the Pierre Walker plot (92951140) in the New Cemetery. My wife is a Walker and they are all cousins. But all those graves are 20th Century graves. I annotated the memorial with Peter Walker plot. That may be in the Old Cemetery. I'm not sure why he's buried with the Walkers. I don't see him or his wife in the family tree at all.I am systematically working my way through the cemetery and I'm due to be back in the next couple of weeks, and I'll check it out.

Hi,
I added a photo of her tombstone. My understanding is that she was one of the original burials in the Tompson Cemetery. A farmer destroyed the cemetery. The stones were moved to the new Mottville Cemetery. They were put on display in the SE corner and the plaques were made. The bodies were not moved. Thompson Cemetery was located behind the Mottville Cemetery in a woody section. (I haven't verified the info.)

photo requests at Milbank in SD
Just checked your requests to see if there might be anything I can fulfill for you and saw your requests for the SD cemetery. I'm from Vermillion SD with Walz, Chaussee, Washburn in my family tree. Just wondering. Linda

RE: Sol Loeb, et al
Thank you David. I see you are new to the F/G community. Welcome.

No, I haven't looked at Linwood lately and don't plan to go out there any time soon. You may find it frustrating on occasion because many of those that have been out there have been out there for awhile and difficult to locate - otherwise all the other F/G's who had once claimed them did not post. (And if I do go, I'll claim any intended photo targets!)

Debbie and Jane are the two people in the Linwood office and they are helpful. What complicates the process is that there are at least two, maybe three surveys done of Linwood under different names, so lot numbers, etc can be confusing. Also, because there is an old section, many graves are no longer visible and an "empty" lot is there. I do photograph empty lots and struggle to feel like I've done my "job." :) Good luck... a fresh set of eyes often helps.

If you go to my site, check out the blog site for the Chattahoochee Valley Cemeteries Society. Right now, we are in limbo but plan to get going again in the fall.

Thank you for your understanding. Linda

Sol Loeb
Hi,
I was just out at Riverdale this afternoon and went by the Loeb gravesites. I photo'd Sol's as well as the rest of his family. I thought I'd come back and claim it as I was not expecting anyone to do so right away. Would you mind if I placed the photos I took at his memorial, please. I do apologize for asking at this late moment. I'll gladly give up the other one I have claimed at Riverdale for you to get. Sincerely, Linda Ames (gravestoner1008@gmail.com)
