RE: Blanche Leocadie PICART LEBON
Hello,

I have checked the changes (PICART and LEBON). It is OK.
There are also some connections between PICART, DAGBERT and MARTEL. I will add the names on Geneanet.
Access to our tree : type "annie demory" in Google.

Regards,

Jean-Luc (France)

Smith Graves
FYI - On the flipside of Albert and Sarah Smith Gravestone it says Walter L.Latimer 1859-1912 and Annie E. Tillotson his wife 1860-1918 or 1913)it was hard to read like the Smith side.

You had requested a photo of his headstone and that of some infants as well. That is why I was asking you about James L. Reid in the Goleta Cemetery.

Hi,
I live in Carpinteria and am a volunteer for the Santa Barbara County Genealogical Society. We are scanning Haider Mortuary records. I came across this name in the register book but cannot decipher his middle name. It looks like Loring, Laing, or something like that. Would you happen to know? If you'd like, I could send you that record. He was a fisherman, lived at 113 W. Ortega St., born 11-29-1870, died at age 69 on 12/25/1939. He was Protestant and had resided in CA 46 yrs 2 mos. He died at the SB General Hospital of heart failure. His father was William Reid, born in Scotland, and his mother was Kathleen Sanderson, also born in Scotland. He was single. The information was provided by the Union. The record appears in the Haider Mortuary Record of Funeral, Book 6 at page 168.

I doubt he has a headstone as the burials in that section of the cemetery were unmarked, although if the Union paid for his burial, and they did, they may have also placed a stone. The Union was the ILWU Local 1-13, 424 Palos Verdes St., San Pedro, Calif.

If this is your guy, you are getting a lot of information!! These old mortuary records are fantastic to say the least. Do you have an obituary?

Thanks for taking this picture of my Grandfather's grave. All the siblings listed are correct. They are not half siblings. I knew them all. I don't know if I ever met Frank but perhaps as a child. I don't know where you found all of the information. Are you related to the Watson's. E. Biddick Lorch daughter of Grace Audrey.

RE: Michael S. Brockett
The dates on the two headstones do not exactly match, however they were side by side in the cemetery. So, I am assuming they may be the same person.

Crosby Family
Among the pictures that I took at Forest Lawn this summer I found those of Marjorie Elizabeth Sprague Crosby and Birney Wright Crosby, so I have added them to the memorials. Thought you would like to know since you created them and seem to be interested in the Crosby family.

I recently posted a photo of the unmarked grave for Leo and Leona Krone based on the cemetery map. However, while walking around the other day I came across their actual gravestone. I just posted it for you. Check it out.
