Amos Ctrittenden
Re - Amos Crittenden/Cruttenden

Regarding any books regarding Cruttenden/Crittenden family - I got a couple of booklets from the New England Historic Genealogical Society - they have a regular website and a Facebook page as well.

I forgot, but you might want to check Google Books and type in Crittenden and/or Cruttenden. There might be some free stuff to read - not sure at the moment

RE: The Infamous Abraham Cruttenden
Any info you have would be greatly appreciated, particularly about William Crittenden (1781-1866). He was born in Massachusetts and lived in Canada for a time before moving to MI. I can be reached here or on Ancestry.

The Infamous Abraham Cruttenden
I just caught a post re: some of my ancestors. Do you have a connection with the Cruttendens?

RE: Adeline Crittenden Galligan
If Adeline is the granddaughter, was it Adeline's mother or father side of the family? I need more information.

Adeline was the daughter of Ruben & Harriet (Holt) Crittenden. Ruben was the son of Amos Jr. & Mehitable Crittenden.

Ruben was the sister of Persis T. Crittenden/Porter/Hall - you can look up Persis T. Porter here in Shawano County, Wisconsin, her headstone is missing.

All descendants of the infamous Abraham Cruttenden of Guilford, Connecticut.

Hi JD,

Sorry I do not have any pictures of Sarah or her family. The only Boyd picture that I have is the one of Thomas Marion Boyd. He was my Great Grandfather's Uncle. The picture of Thomas was one that was in a collection that belonged to my great grandmother.

Are you related?
