RE: Maria Allen Lamoreux
Hi Clarice,
I don't have the marriage date for Daniel and Maria Lamoreaux, c 1821 is what I have. Maria Allen Lamoreaux was born January 25, 1805, Hoosick, Rensselaer, NY and died August 9, 1863 in Milledgeville, Carroll, IL. Maria Allen was daughter of Samuel Allen and Mary (Polly) Drake. I hope this helps.

Evelyn Ostenson .
Regarding your request for me to remove her memorial. She is buried in the Marsh Lake cemetery not the Moe cemetery. I was at the Marsh Lake cemetery & her stone is there beside her husband's. That's where I was when I took the photos of their headstones. By the way, I do NOT give you permission the use the photo I took for another cemetery memorial. Please remove it from the Moe cemetery memorial. I'm using the public message to contact you because your email link isn't working.

Hi Clarice, I worked on the Propsom Family of Sturgeon Bay, WI for a friend, he is related, his Paternal Grandmother was a Propsom. Her family were masons and built the Catholic Church in Sturgeon Bay. Some moved to Montana & some to Chicago.

RE: John Iseli
Off the top of my head the name Effine Wenger does not sound familiar. Try e mailing Jane. If anyone would have it, she would!! She works on her stuff all the time.

I have a couple pictures of Clara with husband Samuel Isely (famly photo with their kids), and Cora and husband John Isely (with daughter Laura).

Is there an email address or somewhere I can send ??

Oops, just realized you're the Lamoreaux side. Not sure if Jane has any other info on them. I only have Isely information.

RE: John Iseli
Hi Clarice ...

Yes, I am related to John Isely. He was born 4/21/1863 in Monroe Wisconsin and passed away 8/20/1915. He married Cora Lamoreaux and they had a child Laura. Cora's sister Clara married one of John's brothers (Samuel, born 10/7/1857 ... died 6/18/1927).

John Isely was the son of Christian Isely and Verena Buenker. Christian would have been my Great-Great-Grandfather.

I can put you in touch with someone who has much more geneaology on the Isely family than I have. Her name is Jane McKenna and her email address is: janemckenna85@yahoo.com

Jane is the granddaughter of Verna Isely, who was one of the sisters of my grandmother Alice Isely.

It's actually been a couple years since I've worked on my geneaology so hopefully I had the above info correct.

Simmy :-)

Links
Hi there!

I got the links for the Lamoreauxs and Jamie all done up, I think; please let me know if I missed one. Would you like me to transfer these memorials to you?

Also, I wanted to give you a heads up that Thomas Hefner doesn't appear on the Corvallis Cemetery records. There's "Baby Hefner" (Jamie,) Gene William, Lusetta, and Williard Hefner, but Thomas isn't listed. I'm not certain if this was an oversight on the part of the folks who created the spreadsheet, or if he's perhaps buried elsewhere in the valley.

Have a wonderful day!
