Hi. You have a request for Clarence Kuhl in Yankton Sacred Heart. There are stones for 3 Kuhl's, Joe, Lena and Baby. The only legible date for Baby is 1883. Would this be Clarence?

RE: Harvey Family
You are very welcome, I took those photos several years ago, I do not have a photo for the other one, he died in 1962 so if there was a marker it still should allot easier to read than the rest of the family, I have photographed the cemetery 2 times, but neither folder has a marker for him, I will try and get back out there before winter hits for real.

You are welcome. Glad we could help. Got lucky and had a nice day. Found the plot on a previous trip, but it had turned cloudy, so deferred it to a better day. So really happy when it all came together.

RE: Harvey Family
I have a requst regarding John Harvey. I have his location, but he's in an area that has very few markers and it's going to take me a little extra time to pinpoint his location. Would you be willing to remove the photo request? I'll find it and get back to you when I post it.

There isn't a marker with George's name on it. I captioned the photo that I had uploaded. I can add more photos from different angles if you want. Paul

RE: Miles Harvey
You're welcome. That type stone is very hard to get a good picture of. And it seems the carving of the info isn't very deep. I tried several times but no luck getting a clear pic of his name and the dates. I might go back and see if I can do a rubbing or dust it lightly to see if it would come up better. I'll let you know if I do.

Best regards.

RE: Harvey Family
Hi, You are very welcome. Glad you liked all of them. I called and got locations for Miles and John. I claimed Miles Harvey today as he is in a section that I can get to (no hills). My intuition is telling me that John Harvey won't have a marker or it is no longer visible. That area he is in isn't that well maintained for keeping markers exposed. I've walked it and photo'd all that I could see. But maybe another "claimer" will find it somehow if there is one.

Best regards.

Hi, Just wanted to make you aware that there were several Harvey's in the same area besides Silas and Flora. I've added them. Chester E, Cora G, Edwin C. Gladys M., Donald S. and Chester E.'s second wife Charlotte Blandy Harvey. Best regards. klassikat

William (Mister Bill) Todd
The Warren Family.
I went out to the cemetery to take the photos you requested. Unfortunately none of the Graves are marked except for a Tina Warren who passed in the 1800s. The nice lady at the office was extremely helpful. Let me know if you would like me to post the picture of the plot. I got this for your records. There are 8 Graves in plot 186

Baby Warren Born Oct. 1897 Died November 16, 1897 Grave 7
Frank Warren Grave 2
Fred Warren Grave 8
Mary Warren Grave 1
Tina Warren Grave 3
C. Warren is also buried in the plot but the office said due to poorly kept records exactly which grave is unknown.

You are welcome!
John Bartlett shares a plot with the Dorn's.
How are the Dorn's related? Only connection that I can find is that I think Herbert Leslie Dorn married Anna Bartlett. I cannot figure out the Laura Bartlett Dorn. Is John Bartlett Anna's father, He died in 87 and she was born in 86.

I have transferred both Walter and Rosa's memorial to you. I wanted until after I went to the cemetery today to take photo of their tombstone and just added the photo to both of their memorials. Thanks, Henry Webber

Both names are on the same side. The back side is blank. The transcription is from 1899; the Hatfield Historical Club transcribed all of the extant stones at that time. It's a good thing, too, because many of them are unreadable now. I took some closer black and white photos that I can send you by email. My email address is

I have posted the photos of the McDonalds as well as Harrison &
Mary Bartlett. I sent corrections where needed. Alonzo McDonald
had a memorial so I posted the photo to it. Henry & Theodore are
under Bartlett but are actually McDonald. All McDonald stones are
matching rose-colored. Only Alonzo's is not in the row with Hiram
& Rhoda, his parents, but to the west in line with Ettie McDonald &
Harrison & Mary Bartlett. I captioned the overview of the three

Yes, the memorial for Alonzo McDonald has his surname as Bartlett
I have asked Sherry for a correction and am confident that she will
make the correction. I will create memorials for Newton and Mary
and transfer them to you and add the photo of the stone with her
and Harrison on it. His info matches what you have. I haven't been
to the cemetery yet because of the extreme heat and humidity. I
will go there today. My info is from the Manchester town cemetery
book for Brookside Cemetery which another volunteer photographed
You are very welcome!

Brookside Cemetery Shortsville
The person whose memorial makes him Alonzo Bartlett is actually
Alonzo McDonald. The lot owner was Hiram McDonald. There are
Bartletts on the lot: Newton, Harrison & Mary
