Hi my name is Debbie. Like everyone else I've been working on my family history for about 20 years now. Always a work in progress.

I noticed you have a memorial for George Schmelzeisen #74562450. Do you happen to know if his father was Anton, both from Germany? All the information that I have matches. Thanks so much for all that you do.

I inadvertently deleted my mother's obituary when I was cleaning up my bookmarks and stumbled across this site. You have my mother's birth date wrong, she was born on November 24, 1919, not 1920. Also in the body of the obituary, you spelled my Aunt's name wrong, it is Martha Chatles, not Martha Chalas. Additionally, while searching this site, I found the information for my mother's mother, Olga Sager, you have her maiden name spelled Luedke, we have always known her maiden name to Leidke. It would be appreciated if you could make these corrections. Thank you, Janet

George Anhalt, Sr.
Hello Jessi,
Thank you do much for the work you did on the cemetery at St. Scholastica at New Blaine, Logan county, Arkansas. George Anhalt, Sr. was my great-grandfather. I have spent a lot of time trying to find him on a passenger list coming into the United States, but I have been unsuccessful. All I have is the information that he arrived here in 1869. I do know he was January 10, 1890. Do you happen to know which ship he was on or have actual naturalization papers for him? I can share information that I have with you.

I am so happy to "meet" you. George Anhalt, Jr and Katie Jansen Anhalt were my grandparents.

Kennedys in Perth Amboy at St.Mary's
Hi Jessi,
I have a question. There are not very many Kennedys with their own headstones at St. Mary's in Perth Amboy, Middlesex County, NJ.
I do see that you listed some and so did a contributor named Kat (she has her messages turned off). How did you find those names?
I have the obituaries for my great grandparents and some of my great aunts and uncles, and I believe they are near the big Kennedy headstone by the main road into the cemetery. When I called the cemetery, they said they had no record of them being buried there because there was a fire and the records were lost (doesn't that always happen?!)
I don't recognize the names you listed or Kat listed, and I am wondering if they are somehow related to my kennedys.
Patty E.

Bereczki, Mihaly
Thank you for transcribing and posting Milhaly Bereczki's grave marker in the First Presbyterian Churchyard of Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. He is buried in the Hungarian Section. The church has no records as these burials were a courtesy to the Hungarian Reformed Churches in the area during the Influenza pandemic of 1918-1919. Your posting is confirmed by a very old photo I have of the marker with his elderly daughter standing behind it. He was born September 29, 1864 in Gyure, Szabolcs megye, Hungary to parents Gyorgy Berecki and Eszter Ujhelyi. Working in New Jeresy and listed as a Permanent Alien, he crossed the ocean several times returning to his town of Gyure, his wife, Lilla Gyure and many children, until his death in New Jersey. Thanks to you his descendants now know where in New Jeresy he is buried! Most Appreciative of your efforts!

I was looking for records on my Grandfather going through my Dads name. I came up with your info on my Grandfather John & Grandmother Anna. Masculin. I just want to inform you they also have a son. John E Masculin. Can you please update your information to show as such. It would be appreciated and mean a lot to my brothers and myself. ( Also in total they have 11 grandchildren and 16 great grand children. As of present).

In my family search I see you have names of family members. I'm wondering how you were able to connect them with my Grandfather. Any information I look for there is no link

Thank you for your attention and held

Sincerely Jacqueline Masculin-Simone.

Mary Yanovsky
Hi Jesse,
We all appreciate all of the work that you are doing in helping us to locate the graves of our family members.
You have a posting for a Mary Yanovsky,1860-1901, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Perth Amboy. I believe that this is my great grandmother, Mary Kisegi Yanovsky. Her husband was Joseph Yanovsky, 1861-?.
I visited this cemetery a couple of weeks ago, but, could not locate a headstone. I have written to St. Mary's Cemetery at 104 Center Street, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861, but, my letter was returned "no such number unable to forward.
There is a Mary Yanovsky in Holy Trinity Cemetery. That one is my grandmother.
Since I currently live in NC tramping NJ cemeteries has become a little difficult.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you.
Judy Banks

Ward St Marys
Hi Jesse
Messaged last in 2012 to see if you had discovered anything definite on Edward J Ward 1897 1959 and wife Margaret. There is a memorial you established in St Mary's. Still looking as Edward is eligible for the Carnegie Heros' Award plaque for his memorial when ever I find him. Regards Hugh
