RE: Helen Doss Bias
Her husband was Terry Bias, son of

Hershel Leo Bias & Palmandea (Williamson) Bias...if you want more lineage info, please email me directly. Just click my name and you will get my email address. I will be happy to share any and all I have for the family lineage. Hershel was married twice and had children in each marriage.

I had to have surgery and then had PC and email issues so I am way behind and I am sorry it took so long to get back to you.

Carrie

RE: Phillip Doss
The Findagrave rule is that the first memorial *in the correct cemetery* is the "keeper". I don't have an opinion one way or the other, so perhaps if you write to the other manager, the two of you can work it out. At some point in the near future I will be sending Findagrave a list of all the duplicates for merging. I can't say which one they will decide to keep.

RE: Verna Mae Pack White
A transfer would be great, thank you. I do appreciate it! Her husband decided to be buried here in Ohio, so, they moved Verna Mae up here. I guess it would be a good idea to remove her memorial from the White's Cemetery, thanks.

RE: Willie Adams
Thank you Bonita. I have done further research including the 1880, 1900 and 1910 census records.

Just for the record: I'm not implying Benjamin and Lucinda were married. Quite the contrary. There are only 2 records I found showing Benjamin as the father of Willie.

Thanks again,
Norm

Sandy Littlejohn
RE: Medley Family
I'm not related to the Medley family. And you are right, it does say son of Joel Medley.
I found another child of John Allen and Mary Emmaline.
Albert - 1 month old when he died. No info on burial.
Margaret is another possible child but she died in Putnam county (d/o John & Mary).
This cemetery is on private property.

Hello Bonita, I've got some information on Thomas Music and Oma E. Doss for you. I'll get it all typed up and then message it to you on here. Thomas' father Daniel was a first cousin to my gg grandfather, Henry Jackson Music.

Charles Adams #71819214
Hi, Bonita: I was doing research on Charles Adams and just discovered that his birth record shows a d.o.b. of 11/16/1910 in Shively, Logan Co. instead of the 9/22/1910 on his death certificate. Thought you might consider making a change to your memorial.

RE: Doss
I haven't contacted him in a while, but Eric White (Find A Grave member #46825936) is from up there in Boone County and fairly knowledgable about the Doss Cemetery. He might be able to help you if you haven't already communicated with him.

RE: Nina Katherine Medley Doss
Speaking of Terry Bluford... I ran across a birth record for Terry Bluford Jr. in 1871 (mother was Eveline Miller). Anybody know what became of him?

RE: Nina Katherine Medley Doss
I've been told that William Chapman Doss' brother, George Washington Doss, is buried in an unmarked grave in the Doss Cemetery on Rock Creek Road near Foster over in Boone Co. As is his wife Samantha. William's parents, Phillip and Celia (I've learned that her name was actually Priscilla) may be buried there, too. As you can probably tell, I have a great interest in that Doss bunch. My great-grandmother was George Washington Doss' daughter, America Jane. She married a Halstead in Boone Co. My father's mother was a Halstead. So I will look forward to seeing what you come up with regarding the Doss family. You get a smiley face if you can find out where William's brother Zacheus (Zackey) was buried, and when.

RE: Nina Katherine Medley Doss
Thanx for the info. I was wondering if possibly you know the date of birth and date of death for your great-grandfather William Chapman Doss and the burial sites for him and his wife Lucinda?
