Mary Rhoads
I think the problem is that there are two John Rhoads, each of whom married a Mary, one of which is Mary Weaver Rhoads and the other is Mary xxxxxx Rhoads.
Not sure, but I think someone told me the maiden name of the second one was WEAVER and I didn't think to check it out since they had different dates. I took the WEAVER out of the second entry to match with the stone. Hope this helps.

Hi Charles!

I just requested a volunteer take a photo of this memorial to confirm he is indeed buried there. I suppose there is a chance he is buried at Ft. Snelling, but doubt it. There are volunteers who do a great job at Ft. Snelling taking pictures of the grave markers. I can't believe they would allow 13 years to go by and not have taken a photo. That in itself is a pretty good indication he isn't buried there.

Fort Snelling
The Fort Snelling entry was way back in 2000! Must have been one of the early entries into Find A Grave as I don't think Find A Grave is much older than the year 2000!

You could click the "EDIT" button to the Fort Snelling Memorial and report it as a duplicate and that he is buried elsewhere. Chances are, someone assumed he was buried there since he was a veteran. Little did they know the truth!

By reporting this error, it should be corrected easily. Good eye for detecting this Charles.

Think spring in this land of eternal winter.

Obits etc

I am delighted to have help with the obits and histories. None of the memorials belong to my family members and I am doing this as a "pay-it-forward" initiative. Thanks again for all your tips and assistance. Yvonne

Charles I go a message from Find a Grave wanting me to link Robert Gillis to his father. His father is not Uncle Will W O Hutton he is a brother of Aunt Mary... Mary Christina Gillis and she had another brother which I thought was Sidney.. Yes I am looking at a 1916 Census Jo sent me and it says this William Hutton 52 Mary Hutton 42 May which should be Mary Etta(they are so careless) age 22 Berta 20 Eva 10 Cecil 14 Borden 13 then William William which must be William Jack 10 Sydney Gillis 40 Robert Gillis 46 Then there was a border Lucy Grey can you imagine all those people living in that big white house... So I can not link the Gillis to anybody but Aunt Mary.. yet there is no place to do that it want a link to parents or spouse these bro were unmarried.

Anna Meixner Zak
Greetings Charles,
I have a correction for you. You have Anna Meixner Zak as a child of Anton J Meixner. That is incorrect. She is actually a child of Anton Meixner number 97269933
Born 1855 died in 1943
