Dear M.T. researcher,

Thank you so very much for the obits & grave site photos of Lenora (Hollingsworth) Bartlett Parker and her daughter, Florence Gertrude (Bartlett) Bright. You are so nice to have done this. Lenora was a great aunt to me and Florence was a cousin.

RE: Gref Cheves
Fantastic

You may want to change one one in the text for Greaf. Instead of "Here lies the memories.... It should read "Here lies the remains of..."

No need to buy a GPS. Google earth, online will give you coordinates for anywhere you want. Check it out.

Joshua Welch
Born 1807 in SC, unknown parents or siblings. At an early age he came into GA, and like several others ancestors came from SC to Putman County.
He went to Madison County and married Nancy nee: Gilbert. In 1853 he was 2nd Mayor of Marietta.
In his will he asked to be interred near Marietta, However, I can not find and graves with him being buried there. I believe he died in 1878, and was somehow connected with GA legislature. He owned before Civil War a Dry Good store in Marietta called WELCH & YORK.
I'd appreciate any info .Perhaps his family came to GA and styaed in Putman County area. It is noted there are no names or dates on tombstones.
thank you, Boyce Alyce gabrown56@yahoo.com
