Hi Crystal, I just wanted to say thank you for accepting the edits for the Carlisle cemeteries. I was not paying attention to how many I sent. Then I received the edits processed emails. I was going through the Carlisle Vital Records and was on a roll I guess. lol
I still have quite a few more pending for Carlisle. But that person never accepts/declines anything, just have to wait the 21 days. I'm not sure if he is still active. Anyway I just wanted to thank you again and say that I've moved on from Carlisle and wont be a pain anymore (well at least not there). lol Denise.

|Janet Y||Susan B.|
Hi. I went to the Bunker Hill burying ground today and might have found a headstone for a Susan B. Harrington but don't want to post it in case it's not her. Do you know if her middle initial was B? Most of the headstones are pretty illegible.

Thank you for the update. The cemetery is not far from where I work, so I have been visiting of late and snapping photos. You've done a lot of work on this cemetery, and I hesitate to file photos on top of yours. Find A Grave now allows larger photos, so I've been taking advantage and filing higher resolution photos in a number of cemeteries. If you object to any photo I post, please let me know and I'll take it down. The old slate stones have been a challenge - I've visited half a dozen times trying to get the light right - still struggling, I suspect it will be fall before I can get the inscriptions to "pop".

Thank you for sending me information. Your suggested corrections have been made. I am happy to transfer memorials to any family member that is interested in maintaining them. Send me a transfer request, available on each Memorial page, if you would like to take over maintenance.

I just posted the memorial stone for "Find A Grave Memorial# 84280676." Her married name is spelled on her memorial as "Daigee" and made the name correction.
In case such as this, I always follow the memorial's data.

I just finished taking phoyos af all the stones in the OLD St. Louis Cemetery in the middle of Fort Kent across from the church. There is one stone I have yet to decioher & four that ned an entry, But, none of them are the ones you are looking for.
I suspect yours may be in Saint Louis Catholic Cemetery in another part of Fort Kent.
Hopes that helps.

Hi Crystal. I see you have added memorials for four of Isaac and Esther Kendall's children at Short Cemetery. I think there may be a fifth young child, Betsey, buried there. The stone, right next to Isaac's and partially broken off, I believe lists these five (the 4 you named and Betsey). LDS has various imaged records of some of the birth and deaths of these children. Isaac Jr, b. Reading, VT, 24 Aug., 1787, - Polley, b. Reading, VT, 12 June, 1795, - Syndey, b. Reading, VT, 12 Aug., 1797, - Betsa, b. Reading, VT, 25 Sept., 1793. To go further, I think a second Betsey Kendall (probably last child to Isaac and Esther) was born June 2, 1805 and m. Jere (Jerry) Slayton Oct. 5, 1828, Calais, VT (LDS image). There is also the narrative from the Washington Cty. Gazetteer that id.'s Isaac as Betsey's father. The Gazetteer can have some inaccuracies, but in this case it may be right. This Betsey Slayton is also buried in Short Cemetery (Mem. established). The Short Cemetery rests on what was the farm of her son Walter P.
Thanks for establishing this memorial(s) for the children. I wonder where Esther is interred. Dave

Crystal, thanks so much for getting this photo and adding all of my mother's cousins. I had given up hope and I've spent all day updating my records with all this new information. Thanks again.

I know the one for his wife says Died in Watertown, Wis,,, so wasn't sure if that Day[??], [???] was another location. So sad the stones are broken, but so excited you found the top parts still there!!

Crystal, Thank you so much for the ten photos of the Grover family in Harvard Center Cemetery. The stone for Charles W. answers the question of where he was buried. I appreciate your time and effort.

You're welcome. Just so you know, there aren't any other stones, belonging to anyone, close to Chloe's. If anyone else was buried nearby, the graves are unmarked.
