RE: Freddie and Tildie Stanart
Linda:

So Trig, was Freddie's father, as well as Horace
Lee, who was my age, and I went to school with.
Trig was a brother to Tim Stanart, who went to the Church of God where my family went. Nadine
Stanart Wesson, Ruth Stanart Sutherland and "Sly" Stanart were Tim's children Ruth was a dear friend of my mothers, and Nadine and I
played on the same basketball team Alluwe HS and
attended the Church of God. Small world. I think I have finally "got it" thanks to you.

Linda:

I must be thoroughly confused. Who were the parents of John, Ida Belle and Homer Lee Stanart?
I thought they were Freddie & Tilda (?). Anyway,
Ida Belle (Stanart) Reed has to be your dad's cousin. This year, at the annual Alluwe Reunion,
Ida Belle, who is 102 years old, took the plaque
for being the oldest one there. I was good friends with her daughter, Joan.

Thanks, Donna

Linda, I just reread you message to me and Kate and Qwenton were Tilda's parents. Qwenton and Lemual McKay, my grandfather, were cousins. I remember my folks talking about Kate McKay. My, my, it is a small world. So good to hear from you and learn about these wonderful people, our
ancesters.

Thanks again for responding.

My parents were Orville and Beulah (Trotter) McKay. We would go and visit Freddie and Tilda in the evening, since they lived just out of Chelsea. They all ran around together when they were young. They were lovely people. Now I thought they were parents of Ida Belle, John and Homer Lee...am I wrong about this? I don't remember Jimmy (?).

My brothers were Pharis and Dalton Mckay, who are now deceased. Yes, I remember Qwenton. Wasn't he Tilda's dad, or am I way off base.
Sometimes a little knowledge can be dangerous.

Thanks for responding.

I'm not sure what you meant when you asked if I would share my photos. I do not mind if you use the photos that I posted for your own use.

RE: Mary Matilda Maiden
Hi, Linda! We are almost the same age - I will turn 60 this year. Did your granny live in Nowata or Chelsea? I have a lot of family buried in that area of Okla...Estes, Risley, Creason, Brannan. Any connection to those names? Stella Mohney Creason is buried in Dawes Cemetary south of Chelsea, Okla. I'm looking for people from this Mohney/Maiden family (Stella's mom was a Maiden). I live south of Hot Springs, Ark.

RE: Ross Lewis
Linda,
sorry I have been so long getting to this. I have found the photo I took for Ross's memorial and added it to Katherine's. If you ment that you wanted an actual copy just go to the photo page of the memorial and print one off. I don't mind as long as if you use it I am credited with taking it.
Hope this helps.
Diane
