Robert Kane
Hello! I am wondering where you got the information that Robert Kane, who died 13 Sept 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri was born in Ireland (on 15 Sep 1849)? The US Census records all state he was born in Pennsylvania. Trying to sort this all out, so would appreciate any doc to support where he was actually born. Thanks a ton! Lisa

RE John Clemens Hood
John CLEMETH Hood, named after his grandfather, Clemeth Abercrombie, was my grandfather. His sister, Lulu Sarah Hood, was not a half-sister, as you have shown. I'm not sure I have added him to Find A Grave, so no need to transfer, but I have all the information about him, his younger brother needs listing, plus his wife and children. Do you have some documentation re the CLEMENS middle name? - Just curious. Reese Gibson

Edit for Emma J. Brown
The edit suggestion I sent for Emma for the date and place of death is from a newspaper notice about her death and also a different newspaper tidbit that told of her illness and that she was staying with her daughter in Tekamah, NE. I do have a copy of the death notice if you want to confirm. Thanks for all you do!

Eunice (Irvin) Landrum
I have found Eunice in the 1920 and 1930 federal censuses, but her gravestone says she died in 1918 and is buried with her parents. Can you give me any more information on the possibility of there being two different Eunice (Irvin) Landrums? Thank you.

Robert F. Birkett
I see that you have created and are maintaining
a number of memorials in Forest Hill Cemetery, including ones for Edna and Everett Birkett. Would you be willing to accept a transfer of my memorial for Robert F. Birkett? I don't know whether or not he is related to the others, but I am returning to work full-time and won't have time to properly maintain the memorials that I have created. You may reply in the public message area, or to dpgraves785@gmail.com. Thank you.

Mary Olga Johnson Blanchard
Mary Olga Johnson Blanchard if you look at the dates on the headstone is the mother of George J, Glen R And Zola Hall. Her husband George Lee Blanchard born in Iowa and died before 1900 I do not know where maybe Nebraska maybe they divorced I have only found her as widowed and living with her 3 children in all the census records I have found. As it says on the small headstone Mother on the larger headstone if you check the dates I do not think she would born in 1866 in Denmark and be the wife of her son George J Blanchard born in 1886 in Nebraska. I am related to Zola's husband he is my first cousin Alonzo Albert 'Lon' Hall and died in Kansas City 1930 in a car accident and is buried in St Joseph, Mo.

Would appreciate your correcting this.
Thank you, Pat Shaw

Just wanted to say thank you for posting the tombstone for Albert Genzler. He is my great uncle and was adopted as a child after both his parents passed away. Nobody could find any information on him until I found the photo you posted, and that led to finding his death cert. and to finding articles on his death. Your work on this site has led to us finding a lost Uncle and is very much appreciated.

Sharts Family
Dear Mr. Huffman,
I am married to a member of the Sharts family and can provide you the following family connections:
Forrest Marion Sharts (#96106869), born on 14 April 1889, in Clark County, Missouri and died in June 1982, in Johnson County, Kansas. He is the son of Roy Sharts (#44173751) and Ruhama Jean Clay Sharts (44175782). He was married first to Ina Ada Sylvester Sharts (#96106807), born in 1902, and died in 1978. His second wife was Lottie E. Kurr Sharts (#33011616), born on 23 March 1896, in Missouri and died in 1981, at Kansas City, Missouri.
He and Lottie were the parents of:
Betty E. Sharts (#51274706), born on 15 February 1922, and died on 2 April 1942. I know she married in 1940, Norman Reynolds, but cannot tell you why her married name does not appear on the gravestone.
As for Charles Henry Sharts (#77493442), born on 11 April 1881, in Nebraska and died in May 1966, at Kansas City in Jackson County, Missouri. He was the son of Ernest T. and Helen S. Sharts. He was married to Mabel Frances G. Ford Sharts (#77493495), born in 1892, in Kentucky and died in 1971, in Missouri. I currently find no connection between Ernest T. Sharts' family and Roy Sharts' family. Roy's family is German and immigrated to New York in 1710. Ernest comes west from Pennsylvania and I suspect he descends from the German Sharts of Maryland. Similar surname, but not known connection.
Best regards,
Gerald W. von Kamrath (#47154658)
San Diego, California
