Thanks for the photo requests! They are my favorite. When requests are made, it means to me that someone cares, other than just myself.
I am about 6 months behind on applying photos, so if the memorial doesn't have at least one picture of the lot or headstone, it means I have not finished step #2 of my most important goals. You are by all means welcome to put a photo request on anything you want even if you want a better quality photograph taken or to confirm the exact location within the lot are also great reasons to place requests.
I love to help others with their family history. This is why I create so many memorials, I get to meet and communicate with ausome people like you every day. Thanks again for all the great work you are doing!

YW. I transfer to anyone that is willing to work on the memorials. Related or not. That is what this site is for, but some people are only going for numbers. I live in Montgomery county, Ohio. If I can be of help let me know. I have lots of cemetery listings and church records. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

I forgot to add her maiden name before I transfered to you, but you can add info. I think family should be with family, regardless of the relationship. If I have more of your kin let me know.

Thank you for trying to find her tombstone. Because of the conditions of her death it appears her huband and mother and step-father didn't put out the money for a tombstone.
Much appreciation for searching.

Kind of a shame really. They paid for those plots, had the headstone made so they could be buried with Michelle, and ended up all split up. Well, they're likely all together on the other side and not the least bit worried about their empty plots.
Glad you found Fred & Ethel. Why do I have this uncontrolable urge to hum the theme song from I Love Lucy???

Hi! I have run across twice before. In one case, there was a cremation where the remains were divided among the family and there were legitimately two burial places.
It doesn't sound like that sort of situation, but I've noted the entry, and this will also keep future cemetery walkers from re-entering her as an actual burial there.
I had to think a while about how to handle it - was going to just delete - but then I just KNEW another person would come along anyway and repeat the entry.
For her husband, I noted your entry for his cremation, in the same way, for the same reason.
One note: Sandia Memory Gardens has no office.
All the records are kept in Rio Rancho NM, at Daniels' main office, where they have little interest in doing lookups, if you can get service at all.
My previous experience with that cemetery (it has changed hands many, many times and has been bankrupted and the object of lawsuits in the past) and the records for it, is that they are pretty iffy. I have found obits and stones there, for people Daniels' swears they have no burial record for.

You are very welcome. Did someone bury them in Oregon, not knowing they had already bought plots here? Or just wanted them near by? Judging from the age, I'm guessing Michelle was a granddaughter perhaps? I also added photos of Fred and Michelle's close ups too. Glad I could help. Good luck in your search.

I'll do what I can Cindy. I know there are some Workmans scattered throughout the county. The workman cemetery in Danville has a lot of broken and worn stones... I imagine some of those may be Workman.
Tell me what you need. you can contact me directly

I just wanted you to know that I did fix the photo. I deleted the old one and put up the new one. I was taking the photo with my phone and it was too wide that is why it put it sideways. Sorry about that. I did fix it on both of your requests.

I feel horrible about this but, while working on the site earlier today, I introduced a bug that accidentally attributed all new photo requests to me! I have since gone back and corrected the issue and adjusted the credit for the photo request, but I am not able to re-generate the email that you received. To thank the correct photographer, please click on their name under the photo and leave them a message or send them an email. Thanks and sorry for the mistake!

|Joann Holdbrooks||James Jackson Reavis|
I can see how you might be confused by this post. When James Jackson Reavis died in Corpus Christi Texas the doctor that attend him during his illness wrote John instead of James on his papers. When his marker was erected in New Bayview Cemetery they put John J. Reavis on his marker. I don't know who placed the marker. The marker is long gone by vandalism. Ben Reavis of San Antonio, Texas visited New Bay View and took pictures of the cemetery. This is all I have except a listing from the library in Corpus Christi which also list him as John J. Reavis buried in section "I" of New Bayview Cemetery. New Bayview was once a prominent and beautful cemetery but over the years has had no care and vandals have destroyed many of the markers.
As you probably know John James Reavis was James Jackson's son that died during the Civil War in Memphis, Tennessee. He died of measles.
Thanks, Joann Holdbrooks

|Kyle Dameron||RE: Vernon D Tucker|
Hello Cindy -
I am so sorry to post the wrong photo for Vernon Tucker. We were driving through Muse, it was very late in the afternoon, and a long drive back to Tulsa. I noticed there were several photo requests, so I rushed out and took what I could find. I only got about half the requests completed and plan to return in a few weeks.
Obviously I was tired when I downloaded the photos to findagrave; apparently I subsequently deleted my memory card so no record that I even took a photo of Vernon's grave.
Sorry about the mistake.
