|Rita Collvins Mayfield||Mary Jane|
I am not related to Mary Jane. I was in the cemetery doing volunteers photo requests. I just can't pass a baby's grave without wanting to take a picture and make a memorial.
Also, in my area there are a number of children buried with no other family there. Back in the early days of statehood, folks came and for whatever reason couldn't sustain a living, and moved on. Many had buried children in that time. These always tug at my heart.

Sorry, but I don't know anything further about the Sunshine Mine disaster--somebody else sent that info to add to the Bio.

I transferred management to you. That means that I no longer can access the memorial, but you can do whatever you need or want to do. If you click on the Bio link, you can write in the box all about Mary Jane her parents, her siblings. Just anything you want to say about her at all. If you decide you don't want to keep the memorial, you can click on the link, transfer management, at the top right of the memorial and copy my member number from my member page in the box and transfer it back to me. You could also transfer it to someone else if you wanted to. It is nice to be able to put information on the memorial about the person. Family usually has much more information. I really didn't know anything about Mary Jane other than what was on the stone.

I want to thank you for your efforts to locate this grave in Greenwood Cemetery, Canon City CO. I have to think that, indeed, the grave is unmarked which is such a sad thing. His wife's grave in Idaho was also left unmarked, as was a daughter's in California. How sad (maybe if I come into a great deal of money some day.....!).

My email had a message via Find A Grave, but I
was able to read it. Hello Cousin, I am really
glad to have contact with you. We live in Colorado, but are planning a trip through Texas in May on our way to North Carolina. I just happened on the site last night, and found where my great grandparents are buried. I know nothing about them. My grandparents were Rachael Pamelia Crawford and John Hampton Brewer. I don't know much about them either. I do have some pictures and hand written family notes I will be glad to share with you. I am looking forward to hearing from you again. My email should be good to go, not sure what the problem is. I'm so glad to have contact with you!!! Allice

You're welcome. I am very happy to have been of some help. If you decide you would like to manage her memorial, I would be more than glad to transfer her to you.
