RE: Williams
You're Welcome! She is related by marriage on my maternal grandfather's side. I'm glad my mystery is solved. Every time I would go to visit my grandparent's grave, I would look and couldn't find her. Now I know why! Have a Good New Years!

RE: Singleton Cemetery/John W. Singleton Cemetery
It stands for William K Singleton. He was buried there in 1884. I quickly glanced for memorials for others that are buried in that cemetery and I did not find any that were created. 5 out of the 10 memorial listed in the generic Singleton Cemetery need to be relocated to other cemeteries, so I would just leave them and request for the cemetery to be named W. K. Singleton Cemetery. It may be the easiest solution.

RE: Singleton Cemetery/John W. Singleton Cemetery
The one you photographed I believe is also known as the Wirt Lee Singleton Cemetery. I haven't been to those cemeteries but my cousin lives down that road. I just hope the weather breaks a little bit before Christmas because I have the time to get out and take some pictures. I live within 10 miles of all these cemeteries.

RE: Singleton Cemetery/John W. Singleton Cemetery
LOL! I think i have found 4 or 5 different Singleton Cemeteries in Braxton. The one that the picture is posted on looks like a cemetery someone started going off of Death certificates. I have identified 6 memorials listed to be located in 3 different cemeteries.

There are 2 Singleton Cemeteries located on Grass Run. One is the John W. Singleton Cemetery. The ones you have listed there are correct. The other Singleton Cemetery that you photographed is correct also.

There is also a Jake Singleton Cemetery located in Napier and a W. K. Singleton Cemetery near Burnsville/Copen which does not have a listing on findagrave and French Singleton Cemetery near Burnsville. I have found 2 of yours that is in that generic Singleton cemetery. Edna and Roy Lee Singleton belong in the W. K. Singleton Cemetery. (Maybe we can commandeer it and change the name. lol)

How's that for confusion? :-D

need help with Haunschumacher family
Hi. I need some advice/help. The ancestor I'm looking for is Rena Haunschumacher (maiden name Roenna Catherine Moore) born 29 Mar 1861 Ritchie Co. and died 09 Mar 1924 Braxton Co. Her death certificate says she is buried in "Burns Run Cemetery, which apparently does not exist in Braxton Co. There appear to be several possible locations: Benders Run, Big Run, Browns Run, etc. I'm wondering if you can put her on your list of people to look for, and photograph the headstone. I'd like to make a memorial page for her but don't have any idea where to start. I'm hoping you have seen the Haunschumacher family somewhere in your travels. The family lived in Gem, WVA if that helps to narrow down the location. Thank you in advance for any help.

Singleton Cemetery/John W. Singleton Cemetery
The cemetery picture that you posted for the Singleton Cemetery should be posted to the John W. Singleton Cemetery page

I noticed you have pictures for the Singleton Cemetery that is past it. Did you take pictures of the stones in the John W. Singleton Cemetery?

Mary Elizabeth Kurtz
Memorial #83170610. Her husband was Jonathan Barnes 'Jacob' Kurtz. I believe he died in 1929 but have not been able to confirm this. Do you have access to any cemetery records that would indicate his burial with his wife? Also, they lost a daughter in 1893, Mabel, whom I also believe is probably buried in the Mishawaka City Cemetery. Thank you for all the work you have done with this cemetery.

Thank You for caring enough to take my Grandpa headstone photo and post it here. I was so surprised when my sister posted that photo on FB. I came to findagrave website asap and looked around the site. I didn't recognize you as family and continued to find out who you are. what a blessed woman you are! Thank you so much for bring this joy to my family. My grandpa passed in '68, I was only 8 yrs old. I have always missed him. seeing the headstone photo also brought me to his photo of when he was in the navy. I HAVE that same photo in my living room! it is the original from that year! I believe 1918. Again Angela, thank you so much!
