Davis Arnold
Ross Fork Cemetery
Hi - As the stone marker in the cemetery photo says, Ross Fork consists of three separate cemeteries designated cemetery 1, 2 and 3 etc. The first cemetery is the largest. The second cemetery is a little farther up the hill and is a smaller cemetery. The third cemetery is the smallest and is at the top of the hill. All are within a few hundred yards of each other.

RE: Margaret "Lee" Harrison
Perhaps I should clarify that the existing grave pic on her page was taken before her husband died, whereas in your pic the stone shows his death date as well as hers. But if you strongly prefer not to post the updated version to her page, I'll let it go. Thanks anyway.

The grave pic you posted for Parry W. Harrison (#107222989), would you mind also posting it to the page for his wife who preceded him in death? She was Margaret Lenore "Lee" Williams Harrison (#43063132). Thanks. :)

Have you figured found the connection to William Salisbury, of King Philips War, and the Salisbury's Family ties to the Tudors of England? The Seamans are also related to at least 12 individuals who were on 1620 Mayflower Voyage.

William L Seamans mother was

Mary Ann Carder Seamans

Her father was Joseph Carder

His mother was Hannah Carver Carder

Her father was Joseph Carver

His mother was Elizabeth Snow Carver

Her mother was Eizabeth ALDEN Snow

Her parents were Joseph ALDEN
and Mary Simmons ALDEN

Joseph's parents were Mayflower Passengers
JOHN ALDEN & PRICILLA MULLINS

Pricilla's parents WILLIAM MULLINS & ALICE MULLINS as well as her brother JOSEPH MULLINS were all Mayflower Passengers too.

Mary Simmons ALDEN's great grand parents, JAMES CHILTON & JOAN VALE CHILTON, were Mayflower Passengers.

Joseph ALDEN's sister Sarah ALDEN married Alexander STANDISH, son of Mayflower Passenger Myles Standish.

In my research, she remarried Henry C Martin Dec 30 1897, after her first Husband William Lewis Seaman's death in 1891. She had four children with Henry C Martin, Alda J Martin, Mary A Martin, Susan B Martin, and Warden Wesley Martin.

Buried: Holden, Johnson, Missouri, 1953

She was my great great grandmother, through the Seamans family.

RE: thank you
Sorry, I don't have any pics of Mary. I have William's pic, but I really don't know of anyone who has one of Mary. And I have numerous relatives thru William.
I can try and send you Mary Ann Carder's pedigree tomorrow. She's the Mayflower, but we all are thru her. Interesting, it goes back to John Alden and his wife Pricilla Mullins, who we learned about in 4th grade history!
My email is posted also

RE: mary etta seamans
Sorry, can't help but laugh. You are the 2nd Seamans today to mail me from FindAGrave. Not use to such traffic.
She is listed as Marietta Seamans on most records. Parents William Lewis Seamans and Martha Jane Tunnel.
She was born 22 July, 1874 in Sullivan county, Missouri. The 1st of 10 children. She married William R Jones in 1898/99. They had 6 children: George Henry, Ralph C., Ada, Earl, Alta and Stella.
I know nothing on Mary Etta's husband.
As someone who descends from generations of Jones', the name is so common, it's really hard to track. I believe I have tried to track her husband and finally just gave up.
But Her Grandmother is a Mayflower descendent, if that makes you feel better. You are a direct descendent of Mary Carder Seamans. See memorial # 21354456

RE: Mary Etta Seaman
Mary Etta Seamans is my 1st cousin. We both descend from Thomas Seamans and Mary Ann Carder. Mary Ann is a Mayflower descendent.
We are documented in the book "Seamans Family in America" up to our Grandparents. The only Seamans, excluding the ones who went by Simmons, who went by Seaman is George D., who as I said, was escaping reality by changing his last name. And life still caught up to him!!
Mary Etta's father is William Lewis Seamans, memorial # 128238409
