RE: Albert Eames in Oquawka
Thanks so much, Ron for letting me know. I also added the obit that you graciously shared with me. I appreciate your kindness and sharing what you've found!

Have a good weekend,

Thanks for the information Ron! I moved to the west coast last Fall so I've been trying to find obits and information on relatives that died here. I appreciate you keeping me informed on relatives in the Midwest. :)

RE: Lulu Wall McKee
The names of Lulu Wall McKee's other husbands were Lauren Woodbury, Albert Owen, and Armstead McKee. I know that Lauren Woodbury (divorced) and Armstead McKee both outlived her and remarried. Lauren passed away in California in 1924 and Armstead died in Iowa in 1940. The latter is in fact buried in Iowa and there is a photo of his headstone on Find A Grave. That just leaves Albert(or A.G.)Owen as the other husband who might also be buried in the South Henderson Cemetery.

Lulu Wall McKee
When you took the photo of Lulu Wall McKee's headstone, did you happen to notice which two people she was buried between? I was wondering because I heard that Lulu was married five times and was buried between two of her husbands. I know that one of them, Franklin Wall, is also buried in the South Henderson cemetery.

Duplicate photos
For George Riley Noble, Find A Grave Memorial# 102235528 you have add the same photo twice. Would you delete one of them, so someone else may add addition different photos if desired. Duplicates are easy enough to do by accident, it has happened to me more than once.

Me Again
Hi again - yes, there is a stone for Earl F. Norville (1889 - 1968) at Roseville Cemetery in Illinois. I was busy there last weekend - taking pictures. Now holiday weekend, I'm putting pictures up and listening to the storm outside!

Keep up the wonderful work! Got my Hend. County Gen. Soc. newsletter today - May 28th - it says who will be speaking at April 21st meeting - thanks, huh?

Ernest James Beresford
Thank you for the picture of Ernest James Beresford's stone at Biggsville! I had a much worse version and was hoping someone would come along and take a decent picture!

William S. Smith Photo
Ron I thank you very much but I am not sure this is my gggrandfather. He was born About 1811, his wife was Elizabeth Sands who died in 1858. If he did remarry Hester A. Smith was the age of his youngest daughter. Oh, why do Smith's have to have such common names ! Again a big thanks for the picture.

Photo of Leonard McGilvrey Headstone
Thank you ever so much for taking the photo of Leonard's military headstone and also for taking the time to post it to his Find-a-Grave Memorial. The family really appreciates your efforts.

By the way, the spelling of the name on the memorial is slightly incorrect: should be "McGilvrey" (rather than McGilvery). The family has spelled it with a VREY as far back as we can locate records.

Thanks again for your help.

Isaac and Sarah Reese
Ron - Another problem I'm having is that the above mentioned couple have a son and granddaughter buried in the Oquawka Cemetery, Oquawka, IL. Family info says that Isaac and Sarah died in Oquawka, so I would assume they are also buried there, but there is no mention of them. I'm wondering if it could be that there are no markers for them??? Who could I contact to verify that they are buried there, if you would know??

Their son is: Judson Adhiriam Reese 1855-1918.

James and Mary Sells
First of all, thank you for all your hard work. I've done a few small cemeteries so I know the work you've put in.

I found James and Mary Sells in the Oquawka Cemetery and would like your permission to use your photo in my family tree. I will, of course, list you as the owner of said photo.

Thanks again,

Pamela Wagler

RE: James Chapin died at Oquawka 1870
I am glad you found more documents! It was so confusing to see Lorenzo getting a guardian in 1866, but his dad supposedly passed in 1870. Thanks for the clarification.

AT&T Internet Problems
AT&T Internet isn't staying up long enough for me to do anything on Find A Grave, or send you my address - I'll sneak online sometime when it's not 7 PM to 10 PM and send it to you sorry, got to hurry before I crash again.

Picture of Tom Putney
I've never seen that picture before! I STILL haven't found Tom's father's burial - he has hidden himself well. His second wife moved to Ramsey County, MN and is prob. buried there (with their son Clell Fernon) but no Harry Mc!

RE: Tom Putney
Thank You! I am busting my brain tonight trying to find the names of Orrin Drew Patch's three children - I have one! Since I put Dennis Michael and Susannah (Drew) Patch's burials in at Ellison Cemetery, my life has certainly gotten exciting. You can barely read the stone, but it's theirs! A Drew married one of my great aunts - that's what got this started. I ended up with a complete map and list of burials of Park Cemetery in Douglas, WY, which is where Charles E Drew, Jr. is buried!

RE: Problem with Watson family
I know -I just got the spoiled food out of our refrigerator today! I'm glad it wasn't too cold - we just sat around with candles. I'm still thinking what to do with these memorials - I'll send the pictures to the person you transferred the memorial to, if he has an email listed. The double stones is what I think happened, too. Good luck this weekend - SNOW.
