|Nina Marie||McLaughlin graves|
Thank you very much for going to check on my request for the McLaughlin graves at St. Francis. If you would like to email me the photo, my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. It is truly sad how much of a state of disrepair the back hill of the cemetery is. The McLaughlin children never had any children of their own, so no one was left to care for their graves.

Dick — If it interests you and you care to poke around there ...
I posted this message for Marie Hayes and will repeat it for you:
According to the main office @ Calvary Cemetery, there are seven family members resting in that plot — including William Havens Brewster ..., but no year or date of burial was ever entered in the cemetery log.
The others are Mary (his wife); Harold Brewster (their son) — no info recorded, but he died on 3.15.1925, age 17; Harris (Brewster?), no info recorded; Raymond Brewster (their son), died in 1973; and Herbert and Anna (Brewster) Barnhart (their son-in-law and daughter), died in 1985 and 1975 respectively.

Dick — I sent additional info re George last week (using the edit tab). Do those edit suggestions go directly to you?
I agree about the sunken footstones @ S.J., and have periodically requested re-sets (which they're pretty good at doing). They do make an effort each summer (starting in late spring) to weedwhack the flats stones and uncover buried ones, which is helpful. Still can't understand, however, why they don't have computerized records at that office.
FYI: I have a record of all interments, including grave locations, 1956 to about 1967/68; my grandfather's handwritten memo-book (from when he was the superintendent there, working for the church). It's come in handy on a few occasions — and I took time to copy the original pages and give them to the staff there.
Re George Brewster's obit ...
It can be accessed online (but I can't c&p it); will email the link to you.

|RonC||re: George R. Brewster|
Regarding your assumption that this man may have been related to William Havens Brewster and Mary (Brady) Brewster ...
Indeed, he was their son.
[One of his sisters was married to a Barnhardt.]
I saw the same monument (after you visited and unearthed George's footstone).
Sent some edit-info for George's memorial, taken from his obit — which can be found online in the Naugatuck Daily News for 9/28/65 (front page).
I'll post a note to the contributor who's looking for info on William and Mary Brewster.

Thanks for looking for the headstone of Mary Brewster. I am not sure if George is her son. I do not know of a relationship with the Barnhart's.
