I have found two stones at the cemetery that I am adding the pic for. Unfortunately the last names were misspelled and have Carter instead of Carder. I am positive these are the correct stones from checking death certificates. All the dates match on James and Wife. I know you will receive a message that your request has been taken care of, just didn't want you to think it was a mistake.

|Ann Amadori||Hare Forest Cemetery, Bowling Green, VA|
I noticed you photographed a grave at Hare Forest Cemetery, near Bowling Green, Virginia, in Caroline County.
I cannot find that cemetery on google maps or mapquest and wonder if you remember where it is in relation to Bowling Green?
There are several more requests for photos that I would like to fill if I can.

That's a switch. The last I was there to take a photo the lady threatened to have me charged with trespassing. She also did the same to the other local photographer who works the Roanoke Rapids area. I will give it another shot and see if your info pans out.

No one ever called her Edwin but I assume that was her legal name since they had it put on her tombstone. You have "She may have been called Mae Dell" and that is not correct. She was called May Delle. No maybe.
(Information provided by May Delle's parents and siblings)
Thanks so much for correcting this. It's hard to understand how a little girl who died so long ago should mean so much to her family, but she is still loved and missed. We want her information to be correct, because her little tombstone and a couple of pictures are all that is left to remember her by.

I found the headstones for Baxter and Gladys Shutt. In the same section were Irving L Brittle Sr, Helen P Brittle, Frederick G Brittle Sr, Mattie P Brittle, Christine N Brittle, John W Brittle and Nannie R Brittle. I have added memorials for the ones that did not have one and added photos for all of them.

Yes. I just uploaded two more photos that will show his name listed as "F G Lee". Sorry I didn't get these all posted at once -- something came up after I posted the first one.

|Demsie Ashby Wells||remarks for children of David S.|
Children born did not list Samuel Flournoy (Childrey) (Wells born Apr.24,1870-died Jul.1,1942. Named after the first son born in 1858 was his birth name, died as an infant child. Birth record given name was Childrey reported by the mother.
FYI Sallie Childrey finally married Robert Seymour in 1882 (Have her marriage license) Grave information should contain her name at time of death. No information on the Seymours. She would have been too old to have more children.
Thanks for all that work you are doing to record the Wells family history.
