St. Johns Cemetery in Cleveland
Hello, it's me again - I noticed you have a number of photo requests out there for St. John's on Woodland Avenue. St. John's is part of the Cleveland Catholic Cemetery network and is under the same rules as Calvary - pretty parsimonious about GIVING out information about their customers. Call 216-641-7575 for the cemetery office; they'll provide you 3 locations without charging you for them. Good luck!

Greetings -
Calvary Cemetery isn't very cooperative in looking up grave locations to Find-A-Grave photography volunteers - they'll only do 3 at a time and recently cut me off from asking for any more locations. I was trying to add locations for the very large backlog of photo reqs for the cemetery; there's over 400 requests. Those that include the grave plot get photographed first, so I'd recommend that you add that info to the Find-A-Grave memorial page. Call 216-641-7575 for the cemetery office; they'll provide you 3 locations without charging you for them.

Joe, Transferred the memorial to you, so you can add the info that I haven't yet. Let me know if you come across anymore that you would like. I know you'll take good care of them.

St. Mary's Assumption Cem.
Hi, Joe. Yesterday afternoon and this morning I've been down to St. Mary's Assumption Cemetery near Haydenville (it's actually over the town line in Leeds) with the current list of 17 photo requests, including six of yours. Though I've looked for most of them before, this time I made an extremely methodical and meticulous search of the whole cemetery, looking at the front and back of every stone, and I'm about 98% certain that not one of the stones with pending photo requests is there.

yes Mary does have one. If I didn't post it yet I will tomorrow after work. I took hers too. Her stone is the one to the left side in the pics I posted for Francis.

Forsyth & O'Brien
Hi, Joe. I seem to have lost my bookmark for your O'Brien family page on Ancestry. Would you post the link for me, please? I notice that your Find A Grave Virtual Cemetery for the O'Briens of Williamsburg doesn't include a memorial for John O'Brien (~1859-11/1/1896), who m. 6/15/1879 Ellen Sheridan and whose death record identified him as a son of Dennis and Margaret. Is that because you don't know where he was buried, or because he wasn't really Dennis and Margaret's son, or is there some other reason?

Regarding Myra Forsyth (whose gravestone I just shot and posted for you), I don't know whether you're aware of or interested in this, but in Phyllis Baker Deming's 1946 "A History of Williamsburg," it was reported that "For thirty years Myra and her mother [Jennie Guilford Forsyth Kenney] have cared for state wards, averaging five continuously during these years." This must be how the two women made ends meet during the years after Alvin Kenney's 1912 death, and Myra evidently continued the practice long after her mother died in 1930.

I rotate all my photos so they are straight, but for some reason when I upload them to findagrave, they revert back to the original, before's quite annoying to I wasn't searching for Ellen when I took the picture, I was just taking random, so there may or may not be another one? But it's very close :) I will search another day. If you want me to remove that photo because its not the one you're looking for just let me know!

Cleveland Calvary Request
Just a friendly mid June reminder that we need plot info to fill your Cleveland Calvary request(s). We have less than 500 requests left but plot info for only 6% of those, having already filled the rest with plot info. We can't ask for plot info for more than 3 requests per week. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot info. We'd really appreciate it and will fill your request(s) soon after getting plot info. Thank you!

Added by runner9 on Jun 14, 2013 4:31 PM

Not trying to nag, just FYI that we've cleared over 200 requests this spring and now have 626 requests—fewer than there were in June, 2012. We'd be happy to clear your request(s) but some/all do not have plot information. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot information. We most likely already have a plot map but will let you know once we have plot info if we also need a map. Thanks!

Durkin @ Calvary in Cleveland
In early April you had two requests in for section 24. I was skipping them as I didn't have a map for that section. I now have a map but your request is gone and there's no photo. If you canceled it and would still like a photo please put in another request and I'll fill next week. Thanks!

Howard Lincoln Sharpe
Hi, Joe. I see you've created a memorial for Howard L. Sharpe in the Mountain Street Cemetery in Haydenville, MA. Howard is actually not buried there. His stone is in the High Street Cemetery, also in Haydenville, and there's another memorial for him there. You may want to remove the memorial from the Mountain Street Cemetery, if it's possible to do so easily.

I live in Williamsburg. Are you local too?
