This is my great-great-great grandfather. I had requested a photo of his grave and was informed he was not at the cemetery you listed. He is at Hope Cemetery, Spring Garden, Jefferson, Illinois. This is also true for his 3rd and final wife, Dora Willmore who you also have listed in the New Hope Cemetery, Belle Rive, Jefferson, Illinois. She apparently belongs in the Hope Cemetery in Spring Garden also. I was wondering if you could transfer these two memorials to me, so I can straighten out this mistake. I would really appreciate it.
Thank you,
Gail Karch Helton

Hi Karr, You and I have corresponded a few years back on Karr/Boyd info. You also corresponded with my mothers 1st cousin, Delores Tanner. She printed a book for the family so I wanted to thank you for all your help. We are still working on this and a friend of mine also has some questions so she may be contacting you. Megan Heyl
Kirk Cemetery INfo
Hello Myra,

My name is Megan Heyl and I am leading the project for the Randolph County Genealogical Society in locating all of the cemeteries in the county. I noticed you posted a question on Cheryl's message board (I do not know this person - and was contacting her in regards to her adding several memorials to a nonexistent cemetery - when I noticed your post). Yes, Kirk and Mansker are one in the same. It's known as Mansker as the primary name, and locals have also called it Kirk. If you need more information, do let me know.

You can write me at my private email address:

Thanks for providing the information and I added it to the memorials. Was there anything further in the article about the Fowler family? My ggreatgrandmother was a Fowler born in IL which so anytime I find a Fowler connection in a cemetery, I try to capture it as I never know how it might tie in at some point.
Sad that babies a year apart were born and died same day. Noticed that the mother died the following year--possibly with another pregnancy?

I can't link father to son unless I put the son on. Go to the son's memorial and ask them to link him to his father. Lois
