Russ Dodge is a docent at this cemetery. He reports that the people transferred on this date were transferred from the local morgue or a similar office, because they were all unclaimed remains. That's why they have death dates added to the Laurel Hill records. Thus, we may be able to find death certificates on most or all of them.

|Nancy Cornelius||RE: Henry, James and Jimmy|
The thing is, I'm not sure that all 3 of these boys are not brothers. Being together like that makes me think they are. Just not sure of why they would have a James and a Jimmy. I know one had died when the other was born. Trying to find some of the family that might know for sure. Thanks again for your help.

|Jamey Deeter||Jones Family - Laurel Hill Cemetery|
Thank you so very much for the use of the photos & the kind offer to take more photos. Jacob Jones & Catharine (Rowen) Jones had 7 known children, however because of you photographing the surrounding tombstones, an 8th child previously unknown was located. Thank you so very much. Kate Jones is now with her family on the family tree. It appears there are two other daughters & their spouses also buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Ann Elizabeth (Jones) Sheble & husband George Henry Sheble. Almira F. (Jones) Williamson & husband William Corkin Williamson Sr. I have added Ann & George's memorials already and will add Almira's & William's when I complete my research & send the photo requests. Thank you! Abigail Deeter

|Mike White||Nina Baxter|
I just noticed someone left flowers in he memorial with a statement that she died in 1986??? Emma was still in child birth range.. will investigate further... the other possibility is Nina married and was buried with her husband, and the family just added her marker with birth date and not death date, oh-well-another family mystery to solve... Appreciate this discovery... thank You... Mike White

|Mike White||Baxter family|
Thanks you for the great photo shots and Plot,of the Baxter's... On Nina, I checked the 1900 and 1910 census both show only 1 child with 1 surviving, but it seems this was their baby that died at birth, so will add her to her family tree. Very much appreciate - Thanks for the help, Mike White.

First, please accept my sincere apologies for being so tardy with a response to your message. You took the time to search the cemetery for me, I should have stopped long enough to respond in kind.
Second, many thanks for taking the time to help us in our search! I have a friend who is a Jett descendant and we are trying to pin all the leaves on the family tree. ;-)
Thanks again for your assistance!
