|James Petersen||RE: Louie Grevson|
Louie Grevson was my wife's father's father. His father was Christian Grevson, who immigrated from Denmark via Hamburg, Germany. I've been looking for more information as to just where in Denmark Christian came from. I'll share what information I have.

|Dennis Harmsen||Iona McMann|
Thanks for your note! I found the obit for Robert McMann and posted it to his memorial, 116962621. From the obit, I learned his first wife was Iona Gregory McMann. Not sure if Gregory is her maiden name or if she was married to a Gregory. Anyway, Robert's 2nd wife was Lucille McMann, full name, Lucille Minnie (Kortum) Streets Gregory McMann. She was married three times and is buried with husband two, LeRoy M. Gregory in Colorado. I wonder if Iona and LeRoy were related or married to each other? A tangled web! I also sent edit updates for Iona McMann. She was born April 3, 1919, died in July 1982 in Clinton, but no obit is available online in Rootsweb website. Hope this helps.

|MMP||RE: Reeves Family|
My family connection is actually with the Osborns.
Mahala Osborn married Cicero Harden Reeves.
Mahala and my great great grandmother, Mollie Osborn Phipps were sisters.
I have information on all of the Enoch and Irena Cox Osborn children so thought linking them on Find A Grave would be nice.
Are you connected?

Thank you and I will be sure to add him to our list. When the weather is better, we will be going to visit the graves to be sure we have the location correct for the placement of the flags. Please let us know if you know of other veterans. Not all graves are marked as having served, so word of mouth is our best asset to locating them.

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one entombed there or no of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

|Dan Dreifuerst||Joseph & Mathias Mannebach|
Judy, on the list I have they are spelled Mannebach. On page 5 of the 1921 Jubilee History it states "The following year (1868) a deadly nerve ailment arrived. On May 25 and 26 Servatius Mannebach lost eight year old Mathias and fourteen year old Joseph."
We are fairly certain they are not listed on any headstone.

I did a 100% photograph project at St Joe cemetery last fall. I was able to identify every stone in the cemetery with the help of Pat Petrie who had the death registers and did a lot of work there in the past. The only other one is Anna Maria Schoenberg in this cemetery. No record of any Leichs. I did the 3 transfers to you, I didn't do anything else.

|Michael J. Von Gebel||Martha Kohl Knapp|
Well you really peaked my interest since I have Kohl, Knapp and Boysen names in my family tree. Just not yours. But Merry Christmas I found your girl. She is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, Douglas Co., NE. The contributor has L. as her middle initial, she is buried next to her husband George Washington Knapp. Their memorials haven't been linked either. In the 1910 census she is living in Madison Co., NE with William and Caroline Kohl as an adopted daughter, there also is a Clifford Kohl listed as an adopted son. William were married for 19 years their only marriage and Caroline says she has 0 of 0 children living. Martha is age 6 years and Clifford is age 13 years. The Martha I had her memorial was incomplete and unlinked so I got that all fixed. I hope this helps you and have a Merry Christmas.

|S Barger||RE: Lyle L Simmons|
This could be the couple you are looking for. Since there was no death date for Lois, we can only assume that either she is still living, has died and the death year hasn't been added to the gravestone. By the way, it shows her name as Lois L. on the stone if that helps.
There is also the chance that maybe she remarried, is buried with that spouse, or buried elsewhere. I can also tell you that the obituary file at the Fayetteville Public Library does not show an obit having been published for her in the local paper under the Simmons surname.
Sorry I couldn't be more help. By the way, I have deleted your original posts on my message board in case she is still living because her full date of birth was shown. (-:

I could not find a name for his first wife, I only knew there was one. I see the memorial for Ruby but that isn't telling us much. I am looking up obits for the folks in Westside over the winter, his could give us some confirmation. I can go ahead and look for him the next trip I make?

|Dan Dreifuerst||Anton Dreifuerst|
Hi Judy, I don't remember taking that photo. It must have been a request from someone. That stone is on the west edge of the old cemetery.
Anton Dreifuerst was the son of Johann Philipp Dreifuerst and Catharina Ochs. Johann Philipp was the son of Ferdinand Dreifuerst, my 2nd great grandfather on my mother's side.
I know of Roy Butz, but don't know him personally. I would be glad to take photos of anything else around here for you.
