RE: ann & gad day photos
Again thank you so very much for posting those pictures. I thought it looked like you had to dig them out. We have to do that to much more current burials in this area because of the past owners of the cemetery get the grass cover them and since they required flat stones if one didn't cut the grass etc away you could not find them. I hope sometime I can find Anna DePui Day's mother Anna DePui. Might have space in the name sometime. I did find here will listed in the Harrisburg wills listing on Ancestry. Also found her husbands will in a different town in PA. Yes I was referring to flying. We are both pilots and had a plane on our farm years ago. Then got into sailing. Same principle's as flying. Generating lift for speed. Again thank you for your efforts in getting those stones uncovered so you could take pictures of them. If I ever get over to Harrisburg I hope we can meet. Pat Morison

ann & gad day photos
Hello Wingnut,
Ii can't thank you enough for taking those two photos. We made it to Harrisburg about 15 years ago but it was Columbus Day and there was no one to help us find the burial location so needed the photo of the headstones. Are you a flyer?? We were for several years then got into sailing and raced sailboats on the Mississippi River for almost 20 years. Thanks so much again. If you get to Iowa or need research in SE Iowa let me know. Coverly family headstone photos
Thank you for the Coverly headstone photos. I noticed their daughter, Susan Coverly Lebo,
#6877055, is memorialized on her parent's headstone; John C. Coverly 6877049 and Hannah Zimmerman Coverly 6877051. If you could please post your photo to Susan's memorial, that would be wonderful! I've submitted for the family links to be made.
Thank you in advance.

Thanks for the headstone photo. So sad to see them toppled over no doubt by some punk vandals. So you didn't happen to see his parents there close by? Is that place in bad shape or maintained? I wonder if it will be fixed. I'm way to far away but might get over there in the fall... Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your time. It was too bad that there was no headstone for the child. Pretty setting though. Linda

RE: Edith Dareler
At your suggestion I did try the East Harrisburg Cemetery, and was delighted to find the lady there as helpful as you suggested she would be. Turns out my spelling was wrong, it is really Edith Daveler. I created a memorial for her at East Harrisburg (#165865013) and requested a photo. Thanks so much for your help with this!

Sorry. I meant do you know who the Reams are. You put their tombstone photo on Maurice O. Barger's Find A Grave page. I found out they were his in-laws.

Thanks so much for looking for Anna Schaffer. I understand they have no information on her, but I just looking and found out that she is probably under her maiden name Whetzell, which I found also. Maybe you can ask them again to look but under the name Elizabeth Schaeffer Whetzell who was born on 3-3-1790 and died on 6-25-1878 in the same cemetery. With sincere thanks,Roxane Copeland

Thank you for looking for her. I noted that her death certificate says she was buried in Harrisburg but does not identify the cemetery. I requested the owner of her memorial remove her. I'll keep looking!

RE: Thank you!
I would like to send flowers. I am going to visit on Dad's birthday, May 20th, but would like to have something placed there sooner. Can you tell me how to do that?

Thank you!
I buried my parents at the Ft. Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery on January 4th. They do not do the internment in front of you, so I had no idea what the grave looked like and they told me the stone would not be laid for a few months. The cemetery is an hour away from my home so it was a trip just to see if the stone had been laid yet. Your photo meant so much to me. It was a final closure that they had truly been laid to their rest. Now that I know the stone is there, I plan to visit and lay flowers on the grave.

I cannot thank you enough. It is a great service you provide!
