I see on Joseph Neely gravesite you have him listed as his mother name is Nancy (Stafford). Can you tell me where you got the Stafford name from? I having a hard time finding anything about her.

RE: Peter Airhart parents
AH HA! Do forgive. My mind was seeing 1919 not 1819 for Peter's birth year. Update accepted!

Peter Airhart parents
You submitted a change to remove the parents listed for Peter Airhart (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=122638350)
Based on proximity of the graves I had searched and found the photo on this page (http://www.camgenpa.com/photos/oldfamily.html - search for airhart) that led me to believe this relationship is correct. Please advise.

Barker Cemeteries - Monongalia Co WV
Am attempting to confirm that there are two distinct Barker cemeteries in/near Arnettsville; currently listed on Findagrave as Barker Cemetery #1 and #2; both apparently on private property.

Can you provide any clarification? Thanks!

Silas Simpson Kessinger
JMC,

Hello!

I sent in an edit for Silas Simpson Kessinger and it was declined that it would remove accurate data. I wasn't aware that I was removing any data - what did I miss?

Thanks,
Keith Meadows

I seen that also. I have a few closer relatives that are the same. So What I do is go with the Majority. I have a few that the birth certificate, Death Certificate, SSDI and cemetery records all do not agree. So when that is the case. I go with what the birth certificate says, and then what the SSDI says. One of those things that happens sometimes. Census takers were not always the greatest. Then I have also found on many occassions that I have to end up opening the physical census record itself, and blow it up to read it. And could never figure out who ever transcribed it, totally got it wrong. And that is the case on this one. The transcribers did not read the physical record very good.

I just went and looked up her SSDI. It is not very often that the cemetery records shows burial date before the death date.

Georgia Ann Henneberger Nichols
I just wondered if it was you who posted the entry about the parents of Georgia. I was curious about the maiden name Mead of her mother Elizabeth. I find a marriage record of A.J. and Elizabeth where it lists her maiden name as Smith. I do see in Georgia's death record it says her mom's maiden name was Mead (just found that info). Wondered if you had any more information. If not that's ok, I will continue to investigate

Thanks

I have located Death Notices for both Palmer and Hallie Shoemaker. Please send me your email address and I'll attach as PDF files. Not a whole lot of information. But survivors are named.

Thanks for your kind words.

RE: John Shoemaker
I have had a chance to visit Crestview 2N - unfortunately there is not a marker for Palmer Shoemaker. I did stop by the office and they confirmed that a marker was not ordered for the grave. I did return to Crestview, placed flowers (artificial) and took a photo. A little later, I will post that photo to his memorial. Sorry I could not do more. I noticed that his wife, Hallie, is buried in Frankford Cemetery.
