I saw that a new neighborhood going in off Camp Camp Kanata Rd had a cemetery in it. I took some pics and then saw that yall already put it on findagrave. I just wanted to mention that the cemetery is actually in Wake county.

I too am very sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. I had just found a Rowe connection in a related family line and was about to write her for more information. Would you have any information concerning Frank and Dora Rowe in Lincoln County, West Virginia and how they are related to Ira M Mannon and his wife Carrie Melinda Porter Mannon? Thank you so much for the information about Debbie. So kind of you to let us all know.

|Bob Carter||RE: JOHNSON in Franklin County|
Thanks for the reply!
I'm not related to any of them but a friend of mine who is 85 here in Greensboro is from Franklin County and am trying to help her trace her ancestral roots. She was a PERRY by birth (daughter of William Henry Perry and Maggie Privett) and as I've helped her I've found they connect to the JOHNSON and PEARCE lines too.
Really appreciate what you've posted on Find A Grave and it's sad to see the PEARCE graves are no longer visible. I volunteer to find old cemeteries here in Surry County, NC and can empathize with you and others about the loss of graves. We've come across cemeteries which were changed over the years to just fields, and in one case, a school. :-) I remember reading about farmers in the 1800s who stacked grave markers in a corner of a field so they could plow and get a crop.

Your husband's mother's side
are in my line too. The Champions,
Most of these are buried at Maple
Springs Bapt. Church. In Louisburg.
The Champions drifted down from Va.
My Grandmother's Grandmother used to
talk about the Champion family riding
5 or 10 wagons to N.C. and would visit
at least a month..
If you want to see what I have on Champions,
Including some pictures, Just let me know.
