Yes, thank you so much! I would love it if you would transfer management of Mary Ellen's memorial to me. She was my aunt, my mother's only sister.
I appreciate your consideration and respect for family. And thank you for the great work you're doing at Arlington Cemetery. It is invaluable to those of us who love uncovering the past for future generations.
I just this weekend discovered I'm a Daughter of the American Revolution! I'm over the top about it. And in doing my research, I learned a bunch of history I didn't know. For example, I didn't know about the Safety Committees that counties in Colonial America established after the first conflicts of the Revolution (the Battles of Lexington & Concord in Massachusetts). They were precursors to the Militias which were formed posthaste in preparation for British retaliation.
It's all very exciting to me. I love this land, and I love its history. Thanks again, Leilani, for sending Mary Ellen my way. Have a great weekend!

|Whispers||RE: Marion Worthen|
I descend from the same grandparents as Marion, but did not know him. I have spent the last five years researching my ancestors. Several branches of the family went to Washington and many went from there to the Portland, Oregon area. The family tended to migrate to the same areas, and where one went others followed. Marion's father, Ephraim Wesley Worthen, married Cynthia Groger in Iowa, 1873. Rather than write it all here, please read what I have found under Ephraim on 147868346. I have not yet completed research on Marion's father to know for sure if I have the correct one 46330615, so I haven't requested links yet. I would be happy to take care of Marion if you wish to transfer him, until a closer relative asks for him.

Hi Leilani and Jan,
Leilani – you have a listing # 87357920 for Elizabeth Jeanne ‘Betty’ Fox Hastings - listing includes her burial location and a photograph of her headstone, as well as a link to her spouse and her parents.
Jan – you have a listing # 49025442 for Elizabeth Jeanne ‘Betty’ Fox Hastings - listing includes an obituary, as well as a link to her parents. However, it does not include a known burial location.
Could the two of you contact one another and sort this out? It is a bit confusing having Betty listed in twice, and surely anyone who finds one listing will not be looking for another? Is there any way in which all of the information can be posted to one of these listings, and then the second listing deleted? I would sure appreciate it.
Leilani’s member number # 87357920

|Scott Sather||Gladys Charlotte Sather Henkle|
I'm searching for the grave site of Gladys Charlotte Sather Henkle. Her husband Vaughn Vernan Henkle is buried at Arlington Cemetery (Section C, Lot C-8) in 1965. Charlotte (30 Dec 1902 - Jun 1969) died in Lake Stevens WA, I'm wondering if she's buried next to Vaughn, and whether the grave is marked. Would this be something you could research at the cemetery?
Thanks in advance.

|Jas||RE: Balcom/Prather family|
I am sure my grandmother has a picture of her mom that I can scan in for the site. I agree, so nice when there are pictures added.
As for transferring, I'm not sure what you mean by requesting from her page? With the memorials I have added, I go to transfer management on that page and type in the ID of the person I want to transfer it to. Is there a better way? Her record # is 85750594. Thanks!

Thank you so much for all of your contributions in the Arlington cemetery. Gertrude Balcom Prather (85750594) is my maternal great grandmother. If your not related and would be willing to transfer, I would love to add some items to her record. My ID is 48411595.

Hello Ms. Leilani, Yes, that is her obit! Its actually my Great Gramma - her real name was Ingrid Lageson Haadem but Americanization made it into Agnes Adams. And the Mrs. Qualey was my Great Aunt Inga, her youngest daughter. Hugz across the miles and a real heartfelt thank you! Margo

I would put Snohomish County, Washington, USA, for both, since the obit states that he lived in the Arlington/Granite Falls area his whole life. If wrong, someone will correct...
