Rosella Stafford #76631616
The article below appeared in Sacramento Union on 23 Aug 1916 (page 2) after her death.

PIONEER WOMAN CALLED BY DEATH Mrs. Rosella Stafford, Wife of Clerk of Appellate Court, Passes Away. - Mrs. Rosella Stafford, wife of John T. Stafford, clerk of the third district court of appeals, and for 45 years a resident of Sacramento, died suddenly at her home, 914 Fourteenth Street early last evening following an illness of some three years. Mrs. Stafford was a strong, robust woman up to the time of the St. Nicholas hotel fire, February 2, 1913, when a number of guests lost their lives. The hotel was located on I street, between Thirteenth and Fourteenth, abutting the Stafford home. She suffered from shock then and never fully recovered.
Mrs. Stafford was a native of Wisconsin, but a pioneer of Sacramento. She was widely known for her charitable work in this and adjacent cities and was particularly active in lodge work, belonging to the Pythian Sisters, the Order of Ben Hur and the Modern Brotherhood of America. Surviving her, besides a husband, are her daughter, Mrs. R. N. Philpot and son, Peter Coffield, both of Sacramento; a sister, Mrs. George I. Marvin of Folsom and brother, Monroe Powderly of San Francisco. No arrangements have been made for the funeral.

William Harold Lee
Hello,

William Harold Lee is my father and his date of birth is August 31, 1923 not August 21 as you entered. The correct date is on his grave stone in the photo, as well a listed in the Social Security Death Index. His Mother was Vera Mae Sizelove, she is buried in the Gridley Biggs cemetery in Biggs California, buried with her mother, Hannah J. Sizelove (my grandmother). My father married Raphalia Marchiesello born in NJ 3/21/33, and died 8/5/2010 in Walnut Creek, California. She is buried in the Italian Cemetery in Colma, California. They are the parents of:

Linda Delores May 23, 1953 in SF
Gary William June 15, 1954 in SF
Kathleen Marie June 26,1955 in SF
Diane Iris May 14, 1957 in SF
Candace Joy November 12,1960 in SF
Terrence Patrick March 15, 1963 in SF (twin)
Gerald Jan March 15, 1963 in SF (twin)

My father was also married to Audrey Marie Campbell before my Mother. They had one son

Richard Alden Lee , he was born on 2/1/47 in SF, died 10/2/88 in Los Angeles.

Can you please add this new information to his find a grave memorial? One other thing that I wanted to mention, my father is buried in the same plot with his father, and my Grandfather William Henry Lee, he was born in 1900 and died in 1938.

Fannie Seamans
I noted the photo of Fannie Seamans grave, wife of Otis Seamans in Sacramento City Cemetery. She is located next to two similar stones and I am wondering if you happened to have taken photos of those stones. I would like to know if there is a relationship of those buried next to Fannie. If they might be from the same family.

Laura Richardson #73007118
Hi,
Thanks for up-loading Laura's burial to Find A Grave. I believe her husband Soloman Richardson (1822 NY - 1909 CA)is buried next to Laura also in Lot 1579. Is there a marker for him? He is listed with a death in Sacramento 19 May 1909. Both Laura and Soloman are from New York. We believe Laura's maiden name was Simonds; do you or the cemetery have additional records?
Soloman's son Victor is Find A Grave memorial #27257366 (Latrobe Cemetery), Soloman's brothers Parson Richardson Find A Grave memorial #129134607 (Masonic Lawn Cemetery) & Demas Richardson Find A Grave memorial #98928100 (El Dorado Cemetery). There are additional family members linked to the above noted memorials.

Thanks again,
-john

RE: John Shaw
Did I ever respond to you. I am sorry if I have not. Your message was:
John Shaw
I noticed you had a photo request for John Shaw at the Sacramento City Cemetery, and that someone had claimed the request. I was waiting for their claim to expire so that I could claim the request and post a picture of the Plot where he is buried. The cemetery records show that there is no headstone for him, which I verified yesterday when I was there taking a picture for someone else. So I took a picture of the Plot where he is buried. If you would like a picture of the Plot, please submit another request.

Dear Mac in Sac,

Thank you so much for transferring the Find-a-Grave memorials for George Randle and his wife Mollie Randle. I have done quite a bit of research on our Great Uncle. He was the City Engineer for Sacramento in the early 1900's. I am proud of all the hard work he did with regard to levees and flood control.

I greatly appreciate the transfer. And, thank you for origially creating his Memorial.

Yours truly,
Maureen
