I found 2 other Posan memorials I created when taking photos. I take a lot of photos and names begin to stick out when looking for someone. I find that I snap more photos while looking for one grave so by the time I return home, I have a whole batch of familiar last names to either create memorials for or to upload a photo to an existing memorial. I'll turn around and there will be a marker with a name I've run across so one simple photo can become a small handful. I love it when there are already memorials without photos yet. So now the Posan name will stand out to. I'll be sure to snap any I come across. Happy Hunting!

|Monica Primus||Mims Cemetery still|
Well the rain has let up but I have been working so I have not had a chance to get back over to Mims Cemetery. I don't have any work planned for next week so I will go then, weather permitting.

I was going through the photos of Section 30 that I snapped today and I came across a Posan with an unreadable first name. The date of death was listed so I looked up the Posan in the interment book. The first thing I noticed was that the grave is immediately beside Barbara's location of grave 245. This Posan is grave 246! That means Barbara does not have a marker. Next, I started digging for the death certificate and low-and-behold it is Barbara's father Gyorgy who was born in Hungary! What a find! Now you can link her to him. And again, if you want him I will transfer.

|Barnard/OConnor/Wolford||Poszen/Posen at Calvary|
I am still looking for Barbara Poszen in Section 30 but I suspect she does not have a marker. I am photographing the entire section because the map of that section is impossible to decipher. Anyway, today I came across Mary Posen in Section 30 who died of Croup at the age of 6. I created a memorial for her. It appears her parents were John & Barbara Posen, if they are part of your research. If you have other info. to add, I can transfer the memorial to you.

You are very welcome. I have not gotten back over there because it has been raining and raining and raining, but I will try to get there this week to get the rest of the pictures. I have photographed about 1/2 of the cemetery.

|cindy t||William West|
There are a lot of Wests, even William Wests, in this cemetery. Do you have any other identifying information such as a wife? Is he buried with his parents?

|David Lee||Jacob & Phariba West|
Hi, we're related via Jacob and Phariba West who were my 3rd great grandparents. Thanks for your photos from the old West Family cemetery. I was just in the Anderson Creek area last weekend looking for this cemetery and couldn't find it. I have family buried at the nearby Flat Branch Presbyterian Church which was easier to find.
Right now, I'm focused on trying to find out the parents of Phariba Williford West. I'm particularly interested because my wife has Willifords in her tree and I would love to find out if they meet up someplace. Let me know if you have any info.
My complete connection to Jacob West is as follows: Sabina West (dau of Jacob) married John Clark; Alexander Clark (son of John and Sabina) married Mary Lyles Davis; Jessie Nell Clark (dau of Alex and Mary) married Delma Blinson; Marilyn Blinson (dau of Delma and Nell) was my mother. You can find my tree on ancestry.com under user 1_davidrlee and tree name "Lee Family Tree".
I live in Cary, NC. Let me know if I can be of any help for you from up here.

I went out to Linden to try to get the Hair family pictures, but was unable to get access. It is private property and the owner was not there. I did get Emma Parker West 101411202 and I presume her husband J Fuller Parker. They are buried in Parkers Grove United Methodist Church. If they are related I will be happy to transfer them to you.

I am waiting a reply from the person who took most of the photos out there. If she can't get it I am hoping she can tell me where it's located and I'll try again. I noticed you had several requests in my area. I will try to fulfill some of them this week.

Please check First Baptist Church in Franklinville . There you will find the picture of Annabelle West's marker. Franklinville and First Baptist are the same cemetery and I am trying to get the sites combined. There are several Wests listed. Hope this helps

Hi! Do you happen to have any info on the people you requested photos for in Fayetteville? Any plots numbers and so on? Seems like a few are big cemetaries. Thanks, Michelle

My gg-grandfather migrated to Indiana from Virginia. His name was James Hare (Hair) Murphy, he had a brother Isaac Martin Murphy b.1808. They married Evans sisters from Stokes county, NC which borders VA. I cannot find records of them in VA but I am wondering if his mother's maiden name was Hare or Hair. If you come across a James Hare Murphy b.1815 m.Elizabeth Evans 1836 please contact me. I realize this is a stretch but you never know.

|Lynn Emerson||RE: Babcock-Emerson|
The Sarah Babcock Emerson that I am looking for was born about 1854. She married a man named Frank Emerson (Emmerson) and I could find them together on the 1880 census. By the time the 1892 census came out, Sarah was living alone, and her 2 children were living with other people (her daughter was with her parents, Worden and Hannah Babcock) and her son was living with a family of unknown relation. This is around the Cayuga County area of New York. I am looking for a birth record for Sarah, a death record for Sarah, a marriage record for Sarah, any record of Frank Emerson's existence or what happened to him (did he die or abandon his family?), Who is Frank Emerson's parents, etc. This is the juncture where I cannot get past in the family tree. If you know even stories of this family that you could share I would appreciate it!
Thanks in advance,

|LV BRMNS||RE: Frank, Mildred, Elias Ward|
So sorry Elias & Mildred have no memorial markers. I posted the photo of the section & lot so you could see where they are buried even though there aren't any stones for them. Frank has a memorial and I added the photo of the whole lot so you could see his marker in relation to the rest of the lot. Click on the photo for section & lot number.

I was at Toledo Memorial Park today looking for the graves that you requested. I have yet to find them, but I only gave up because of darkness. I did find 3 other Wards in the same section and posted them, with photos. Don't know if they are any relation or not, just thought I'd let you know. Alfred, Esther, and Denton Ward.

I tried to find these two markers on three other visits but could never locate them. The problem was
they were located near a large willow oak tree and the leaves had them completely covered. This time I carried a small brush to enable me clear such hidden
