Thanks for your help Greg
I think that if I run into another dead end, I shall really spit then........What a mess, so very hard to find these two people unless something just dumped them somewhere, and I doubt that? Thanks for the leads, will try them and forgive me blabbering.

Who does the photography for the
Union Hatchett Cemetery, in Bessie, Oklahoma? I have tried to get a picture of my paternal grandmother's grave to no avail. Her name was Sarah Adeline Marcum Maynord. Can anyone help me. Or perhaps give me a number to cal there at the cemetery? I am against a brick wall and I am so tired of it.

Thanks so much,

James Micajah "Mack" Maynard
Greg, trying to find a gravesite for my paternal gggrandfather and his wife to no avail. His name is above, and her name was Mary E Gaskins. I have had no luck what so ever with finding a death cert. anything on either of them.He was born in April of 1861, she was born in Nov of 1869. He was born in in Overton Co, TN, and she was from Russell Co. KY I think as they lived there for many years, and I have found their sons Ores and Oran in the Jamestown, Cemetery. Do you, or anyone else you know have any information regarding them? I have searched for many years, and having never know any of that side of my family, it is a hard search.

Their daughter Myrtie L Maynard married my grandfather Joseph F Hamblin. They lived, raised their family in Cincincatti, OH, and are buried there.

Any help would be appreciated,
Sincerely, Lea Hamblin Roberts

Dianna Lauer Gray
RE: Family
So our Great Grandfathers were brothers:
William Samuel Schwarts (born 1828)
William Samuel Schwartz (born 1858)
Bessie Schwartz Merriman Marmor
Hellen Merriman Lauer
and then me: Dianna Lauer Gray

The new thing I learned is, I found William and Wilhelmine grave, was able to take pictures. I do not think my Mother know that her Grandparents and Great Grandparents were buried in Rome. They must not have talked about things like that. Mom died Dec 20,2013, exactly 60 years after her Mother.
Have you learned anything interesting?
Good talking with you. Dianna, your cousin LOL

RE: Mildred L Ellis Schwartz Question ?
Hi,
I really don't have any further information regarding this memorial. There was a Dianna Lauer that provided some of the biographical information to me. Hope this helps. Have a good day.

Forest L Preston
Just found the link of Forest Preston to my family tree. James Coby preston and Henry Preston were brothers so Forest would be my 1st cousin four times removed...lol

Schwartz Family
Hello Greg, need to start out with: I am not a blood related with the Scwartz Family, but grew up with some of the decendants. My Step Grandmother was Daisy Shoemaker Shellenberger. Whom I loved dearly! She was the daughter of Lilly Violet Schwartz. May I ask, how are you related?? Will share what I have. I will post my email again for you ~ Christina

RE: Lowell Millage Photo
You're welcome, my pleasure~ It was a beautiful day. You also asked for the plot location in the cemetery. There is no map on site, and it's a little spread out. The cemetery is located just north of the church, and is divided visually into 2 sections, north and south. Lowell's grave is on the southwest corner of the north half of the cemetery. So going from the south 1/2 to north 1/2, his grave is in the back row, just as you enter the north 1/2. Sounds more complicated than it is. ;)

Karin H

Tillman & Maynard
My Tillman connections are in southeast Georgia, namely Bryan and Chatham counties.

My wife (from West Virginia) has some Maynard connections, but not primary. My gr-gr-gr-grandmother was a MAINARD (MAYNARD) but unsure if she was from NC or VA, but died in Pilot Mtn, NC (Surry County) before 1900.

I just uploaded a picture of Connie's grave site. I'm sorry but there isn't a marker. If there is anyone else you would like me to look for don't hesitate to ask.

Greg, Was able to find Homer's marker, but no luck with Iva. I contacted the cemetery board and she said that no one with the name of Iva was listed. As you can tell by the picture of the site, there's only one marker. She did have a listing for someone whose name was "Goldie" She said Goldie was buried in the same plot as Homer, but there was no headstone. Was Goldie, Iva?

Good morning Greg:

James Mitchel Maynard was right where you described he would be. The other requests I was unable to fulfill. I used the "report problem" link so that I could document I had attempted to find James Maynard b 1863 d. 1883, and was unable to find that grave. Glad I was able to help, especially since I live less than half a mile from the cemetary. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thanks,
Eddie
