RE: George Lewis Jillson
I see your message now, but had already transferred him to you. I also added the 'obit' to the memorial - both orig & typed. You're welcome & thanks for a prompt response! All my best, Kim

You are very welcome. I had enough trouble getting to Canada from Michigan, so I can only imagine. I also sent some images of the other sides of the monument to the email you have listed in your profile. I hope you received those, also.

I've always believed that photos, along with family stories, are what make genealogy come alive. Please go ahead & use whatever photos you'd like. If copying them from FindAGrave doesn't work too well, let me know & I can send them to you as attachments in an email.

I think you have the wrong person. I did not provide photos as these were not relatives of mine.

Hello Carol,
It was an honor and my pleasure to provide the photo for your great grandmother's memorial. It's a nice compliment knowing that you will be using the photo for your Ancestry Tree as well.

Good luck with your discoveries!

RE: Thelma Pauline Jillson
Hi Carol-In response to your inquiry of Lilly Mae-I dont know much other than her last name was fry or frye-I assume that was as result of marriage-and she died in Springfield Mo. or a near proximity of. a person named Norma Manser whom is Pauline's daughter whom also resides in springfield area knows a lot about the family tree. perhaps you could find her on the internet and find out some answers. Aunt Lilly resided in St.Louis on Edwards Street with Pauline for a while in @1974 -she was a real nice lady.

Happy to help you.
I also saw two additional Haskill graves close by -- Floyd Haskill and Frances Haskill. New memorials have been posted for them as well.

RE: Thelma Pauline Jillson
Hi Carol-I dont mind you copying the pics-You probably know more about her relatives than I do. I know her kids-and grandkids but not much at all about her ancestors- I know she was raised by her mother's sister as her mother died giving her birth or very shortly after. any question you may have about her I would be glad to answer, providing I know the answer.

Dear Carol,

I checked the phone book but could not find a phone number for Mount Hope Cemetery or an address.

This cemetery may not have an office or the cemetery is owned and managed by another company.

If that's the case, I would have to know who owned it to get a phone number.

For example, Green Lawn and Memorial Cemeteries have no phone number under their names, but if you knew that Park Lawn manages these two cemeteries, you would be able to get a listing of someone buried there. Since Green Lawm and Memorial are side by side and the Park Lawn Funeral Home and Office is located at that location, Green Lawn and Memorial Cemeteries in our area is referred to as the Park Lawn Cemetery.

Confussing? Sure is!

You are welcome. I wish I had your other requests when I was there I could have taken those for you as well. I am leaving for a conference early Thursday and don't know if I can take the pictures prior to leaving. I will see if anyone can pick them up and if not I will try to go back tomorrow.

Dear Carol,

I must have never received your e-mail. Sorry! I have no memory of it.

I never ask people to send me photos. Not when you can downloiad them onto your aunt's memorial yourself.

I do corrections and add things to the bio.

Honestly, I don't remember receiving an e-mail from you. Because of the number of e-mails I get for corrections, it doses at time take me sometime in answering them. One day I got 50 requests for corrections by the same person. Apparently, she thought I spend all my time on Find A Grave doing corrections.

I'll do your requests but please understand I may be slow in responding.
