RE: Wolverton
Hi Ethel, I have several large notebooks on my Wolverton line. I hardly know what to send you. My Mother was a Wolverton and that's the first line I started working on in the 1960's. Send me your telephone number and I will call you. Give me a good time of day to call.

RE: Margaret Jane Martindale

I am not related, unfortunately. I found the picture of Margaret through the White County historical society. They might be able to help you with more information in your search.

Hello there! I have quite a bit about his wives and children but do not know who his parents or possible siblings are. William Mart Gore was his first son born from his marriage to Minerva Gentry. Sorry I cant help more. I guess we are cousins :)

Sisk Family
I am looking for more information on the Sisk family. My grandfather was William H. Sisk. His father was William Hessacarr Sisk. They were from Tennessee. I believe around Adamsville, Savannah, and Hardeman and Hardin Counties. I am also trying to find exactly where Morris Chapel Cemetery is located. Which town to be exact. Any help would be great! Thanks! Karen

RE: Martha Thomasin Graham
All the info I have on the Oney line can be found on My family tree specifically is called Rogers/Gibson-West/Graham.

Just one interesting fact I have discovered on the 1920 (Gray, White County, Arkansas) US Census is Martha and husband, Ezekiel were inmates in the White County Poor Farm. Sounds sad but I have researched Poor Farms and they were each county's form of helping their sick, elderly or incapable citizens prior to government assistance being established.

Martha and Ezekiel are my 2nd great grand parents.

RE: Rufus Sisk

I contacted Find A Grave and informed that it was a duplicate cemetery and could they merge the 2 together.

Got a reply Wednesday and they have done that, so that now he is showing in the correct cemetery.

Thank you for trying.

Ethel, would love to have any info you would like to share. Go back far enough and you might find that we are related. Ha! I can share any of my info also. I also found where there was a Martha E McClain that married a great uncle of mine. They are buried at Hurricane Hill Cemetery, Dyer Co, TN. You can email me at

RE: Sisk family
Hi Ethel,

I am not sure if I am or not...I have McClain's in my family tree, but they married into my family. I am the youngest of my generation so I don't really know a lot of my family like the older ones do. But I am related to a lot of the people buried at Morris Chapel Cemetery. I still have loads of family members that live there. I'll list a few last names...Nix, Smith, Thacker, Cunningham, Nixon, Conaway, a few Alexander's, Montgomery, Kiihnl, Thomas, Wicker, and many, many others.

I do show where a Kay McClain married a 2nd cousin, Donald Ray Nix.

Albert and Jennie (Thacker) Nix are my grandparents and Richard and Grace (Smith) Nix are my parents. They are buried at Morris Chapel. My grandparents and their children were from around that area. My mom was from Muscle Shoals, AL.

Let me know if I can answer any questions.
