Thanks so much that has been bothering me and people keep copying it. So since I had the proof I wanted to get it changed. Thanks for your time and help. Kathy

I'll wait to hear from you before I change anything. You would think if a Find A Grave photographed a grave, but, in a different cemetery, he would mention it. Thanks for all you are doing. Baxter

|Vicki||RE: pix of Jesse Roy Weidenhammer|
Thank you for asking about posting the photo of Jesse Roy Weidenhamer's memorial to Ancestry. I sincerely appreciate your intention to give credit to the original photographer.
In light of that, yes, you may post the photo to Ancestry, but I'd like to give credit to the original photographer--please watermark with the name Stanley Weidenhammer. He is Find-a-Grave contributor #46770578, and a colleague of mine. I have had his permission to post his photos on Find-a-Grave, and has also posted photos to Ancestry. He has worked tirelessly on the genealogy of the Weidenhammer/Weidenhamer family in America.
I, too, am a Weidenhamer descendant. My ancestor was Sarah Ann Weidenhamer, daughter of Jacob D. Weidenhamer, son of John Adam Weidenhammer, son of Johannes the immigrant.

|Tina||RE: Orrel Thurman Bacon|
Thanks for your message and edit request. I must apologize as I reported Orrel's death as May 7th which was the date of her obit. She died on May 6th. I have transcribed her obit on her memorial. I found that her daughter Bernice is buried in Shererville, IN. and requested the memorial owner to link her to her parents.

Sorry, I forgot the county of death for Orrel in my last post. She died in St, John, Lake County, Indiana.

Thank you for suggestions regarding this family. I accepted your suggestions except for birth and death of Orrel. You report date of birth as May 11, 1889 in Galesburg, Knox, Illinois. Could you provide a source for date of birth? Orrel's marriage record reports her place of birth as Yates City, Il. also in Knox County. Do you have a different source? You report her date and place of death as: May 3, 1963 in Porter County. Her obit in the Hammond Times reports her death as May 7, 1963 in St. John. I hate to be a pain, but you know everything on this memorial will be copied in many family trees.

Are you sure about Carl and Eva Buck not being in Mequon and are not taking this from a list? I took the pictures myself and they are relation to me? Thanks for your kind response. Jenny

|Matt Witt||RE: Katherin Burke Thurman|
Thanks for the note. I did get a picture of it when we were in there. I put it on the site now. I'm getting a tad behind with all my pictures. I just NOW realize that there are TWO William Manson Thurmans there.. almost the same age. One I think went by William West Thurman though. I'll have to look into that a bit more on my ancestry.com!
If you are looking for any more, let me know, I may just have a picture that I haven't loaded yet!

Thanks much for the information. Unfortunately, I did not create the link and cannot undo it. I would expect that the creator of Esther's memorial did. Would you please place an edit on that memorial and ask for the change? Thanks!

This is getting quite interesting and I will make corrections and so forth, but I am ultra busy right now, may be for a week or so, please don't give up on me if you haven't heard from me or see changes. cj.
There is another monument in Cook that is a memorial with burial being someplace else..I entered it and forgot to make a note (I think) but plan on going to Cook soon and tracking it down and making the corrections. cj
Added by cj on Jun 26, 2015 9:23 AM
Confusion is correct, I rechecked what I had entered and there are not just 2, but 3 memorials for Martha! One at Cook and two in section 1 at Mq.
The 3 entries I made were taken from the Knox County Cemetery Records books. They are correct with the cemetery book information BUT that does not mean that they are right!
I don't know what to tell you, I am willing to do what ever you believe should be done.
I possibly filled a request for the Cook Cem. monument and could not find it so entered the picture where hers should have been located and added a note, but since you found her stone I will delete my picture.
Thanks, let me know what's happening....cj
