Hi Leslie,

I linked up Harold Mars to his wife Lilyan and added her date of birth.

I would be a distant cousin of Harold Mars' brother-in-law, Elias Harry Haertter.

Would you like me to transfer, Lilyan or Harold's memorial to you?

RE: Jane (Forrest) Haswell and siblings
HI Leslie,

The reason it states half siblings is because I attached Jane (my 3rd great grandmother) to both parents on Find a Grave and the person who manages the other siblings have only attached their mother. So Find a Grave just calculates them as half. Just send an edit to the person who manages those memorials and have them attach the father;s memorial # and the problem should be fixed.

So funny that you sent me a message tonight...I just came across a small article(dated 1900) about Lucy Haswell and her Uncle George Forrest stating they had just moved back to Nether Providence after three years in Mississippi. Did you know they went down to MS? Wonder why they went?

Take care, Michele

Transfers complete, you can add/delete what you want. I know there is concern about siblings so if you want to clear that until I send you the paperwork I understand.
So happy they are now connected with their family,
I know it means a lot to you to have them-

If ever you need help in finding data drop me a line-

All I know about Albert Peterson is that he is recorded as having been interred on October 28, 1898. The record for Nelson Peterson states that he died February 10, 1920. Well, it sounds like you may have a new trail to research. Have fun with it.

Yes, the Epworth Methodist Church Cemetery is the one right behind the police station. Hannah Peterson is listed as owner of lots 158 and 166 which are adjacent to each other. There is no burial record for her. The only record of Nelson Peterson is a burial permit, but it does not indicate exactly where he is. There is also a record for Albert Peterson, possibly the father of Nelson Peterson. He was buried in 1898. No, the record does not indicate what lot he is in. I think it is a fair guess that all three Petersons are in lots 158 and 166. A double plot like that has room for 8 people. It makes one wonder who else might be there.

The easiest way to tell you how to find the area of the Peterson lots is for you to look for a row toward Cinnaminson Ave. that has headstones for 3 veterans among others. Surnames will include Chamberlain, Fernley, and VanSciver. The Peterson lots are the ones next to the VanSciver lots. Unfortunately, there are no stones to find.

I hope this information helps you a little bit.
