Would you happen to have directions for the Burdette/Roberts Cemetery?
I know that it is off CR 236 in Chambers Co. but can't find specific directions on how to get there.
Thanks so much,

Dear John E. Shepherd,
Thank you very much for posting the headstone photo for Elijah Beaird on Find a Grave, 81666356. Since it is a joint headstone with his wife, Ellen P. Jordan-Beaird's, 66731183, information as well, will you please post the same photo on her memorial?
Thank you so much for your help.

|CWY||My Great Great Uncle|
Thank you so much for having taken and posted this photograph.
Hurshul Venus Yancey is the brother of my great grandfather, Lewis Davis Yancey, so he is my great great uncle.
I have been researching my family, Yancey, for years now and trolling the internet, grasping at what ever little threads might present themselves.
It was so great to see this picture and memorial.
His name has been spelled so many ways, Hurshul, Herschel, Hershel, that unless you try just the right one, you could get a "not found" result, as I have prior to trying this spelling.
To see the actual memorial along with a picture, makes tangible that which seems rather unreal after a while.
Thank you again,
Carlton Wesley Yancey firstname.lastname@example.org

Thank you again for your super fast response to my request! You verified the first name for me. That's my granddaddy's granddaddy. My granddaddy's first name was Baber, so I suspected that was really the right name. Really appreciate it.

Thank you, Mr. Shepherd! That was fast! You wouldn't happen to know anything about Joseph or where the rest of his family might be buried, would you? Now that I have the service info from the grave stone I can check for pension and widow's pension records. Thanks, again.

Thank you so much for the info of the location of W G N Hudmon's grave site/marker. My sister and her husband found it last weekend and let me know. I guess I didn't see it the day I went looking because it's on that little hill and I was walking below it---thanks again!

|Jim Adcox||Old Harmony - John Whitlow|
Saw your problem in finding John. As you may know, there are 3 cemeteries in this location. There is a lot of confusion to where each is located. Two across from church and one east of church, same side of road, and across from the dirt road intersection. I know these as Waites and New Harmony across from church and Old Harmony east of church. A transcription in 2001 has John along with his wife Catherine buried in Old Harmony. Catherine's grave photo is posted on Find A Grave. Looking at grave listing, I would say that his grave is near the road close to Slaughters. I was there a few years ago and took some photos. Over grown with weeds so I took a weed eater on my last two trips. Atlas of Alabama graves has John as the first burial here. Good luck.

Just a note to thank you for the picture you took and posted for me. I appreciate it so very much. When you happen to go back there next time, if possible, let me know... I'm trying to get headstone shots for several more of my family...but they don't have memorials on findagrave yet. I'm trying to see how to get those posted... Thank you again.

Hello Mr. Shepherd,
My name is Beth Evans and I see that you have added a photo of my g-g-grandfather and mother to Find-A-Grave. I went looking at Shady Grove Cemetery the other day trying to find their graves, but was unable to find them.
Would you happen to remember which part of the cemetery you found their markers?
Would appreciate any help that you can give me. Thank you.
